Tuesday Crap

* Everything went as planned for the birthday party. The jello shots didn't last long at all.
* We cooked a 14 pound brisket and had 6 racks of ribs. By the end of the night there was 5 strips of brisket left and 10 small ribs.
* My kitchen floors were unbelievaly disgusting. I spent over an hour cleaning the kitchen and mopping my floors.

* The June Bugs are really starting to gross me out. They are all over the place at my house.
* My nephew found a baby turtle and my sister refused to take it home and let him keep it in the house so now it lives in my whiskey barrell planter in the backyard. He is really cute. He is about as big around as a silver dollar. I will try and get a pic tonight and post tomorrow.

* We have no plans for this weekend. That hasn't happened in a while.

* I kind of want to go see the King Tut Exhibit, but I can almost promise you I won't.

* My mom and dad found and had the neighbor fix the leak under their slab. Instead of claiming it on insurance right away, The neighbor talked dad into trying to find it himself and letting him help. It worked. It's fixed. Amazingly after 20+ years my mom and dad found the left over tile for the kitchen. Wow . . . one tile was damaged during the process and thats the one they jackhammered into.

* I ordered a peace lily plant for my grandmother in law today, it's her birthday.

* I want to try a garden this year but my dogs would probably destroy it.

* Someone emailed me some pictures from Mudd Nationals from the first of April. WOW, we missed a great time.
