YES!!!! IT'S FRIDAY ! !

* The Korean's are really starting to freak me the hell out. My best friend has been glued to CNN for almost a week straight.

* I hope this doesn't happen, but I am almost positive I will experience a nuclear bomb in my lifetime.

* Plane crash not far from my home! Scary! We always see planes flying over. They go back and forth to Bridgeport Airport. I have always had a fear of one crashing into my house while we were inside.

* We have alot of Army helicopters go by and they are really loud and they fly really low.

* I hope I get a good tan while working in the yard today.

* I heard someone won 232 million from South Dakota. Then I see a link in the news to the LOTTERY CURSE.

* I still think it would be nice to have a few mills to throw around.

* I would definitely want to remain anonymous, but you know everyone in Wise County would know if you won.

* I was in the bank this morning waiting to deposit my check and CNN was on. They were covering a news story on a chicken that crosses the road to eat donuts. Oh wait . . . story here.

* The long weekend was fun. It's always over WAY too soon.

* I love to find a good deal. If I buy it and it wasn't on sale I feel like I screwed myself for paying full price.

* I searched the name of the 24 year old that died from Bridgeport that was in the Update today on myspace. It is sad that she has passed away, but I was trying to find out why or how she died. I found her page, or at least I think it's her page. I have seen her before I just dont know where. May be she worked at the store or something. Anybody know what happen? Whatever it was, it's sad.

Thursday Crap-ola

* Someone emailed me this link. Check out the first review for the product. I was laughing my ass off.

* I was leaving for work and saw something fall out of the tree in the back yard. I thought it might have been a baby bird. My dog went over to it and sniffed it and walked away. Upon further examination of the situtation I discovered it was a snake skin. Yeh for me.

* I heard a mysterious loud noise after we went to bed last night. Neither one of us can figure out what it was.

* It took me over an hour to fall asleep because I was paranoid someone was in my house.

* We ate the Chicken Casserole from Schwans last night. It was good but it's really just a big chicken pot pie.

* I need a new pair of sunglasses.

* Anybody heard anything about Brookshires?

* I need to buy beer after work.

* I think we are going to grill tonight.

Tuesday Crap

* My dad has finally given in and is getting an MRI for his back.
* I got to give my dog the chop job tonight.
* We rented the movie Taken, but haven't watched it yet.
* I have a double birthday party to go to this weekend.
* Desperate Housewives was ok. I am hoping Mike was marrying Susan at the end and not that other woman.
* This show looks like it would be fun to watch.
* I finally beat hubby at Monopoly last night. I owned that board!
* I'm eating left overs for lunch today, which is cool, cause it's free.
* It is hard to find a good salad for less than 7 bucks.
* I'm thinking fried chicken for dinner. Chicken legs are my favorite part of the chicken.

* I love fried deer back strap.
* We have a ton of deer meat in our freezer.
* I lose sunglasses easily.
* I missed my follow up eye doctor appointment yesterday. I just called their office to apologize. After I hung up I thought, was that even necessary that I call, or just courteous?
* I am not downing people who live in trailers, but for goodness gracious live in it like you are proud of it! Just because you can't afford a real house doesn't mean you have to live like a pig. Clean up your shit around the house. There is some people that live down my road and their yard is always nice, hell you can't even tell they live in a trailer. Other people on the south side of the HWY you would think they just don't give a shit about anything they own. If I was sporting a trailer at least I would try and make it as nice as it could look. I just don't understand that. You don't have to be rich to pick up trash and take it to the dump people.

Monday Crap

* I went to a kids birthday party yesterday in Keller off of Rufe Snow. I didn't know Keller had an indoor "water park." It's not a huge place at all but for a 6 year old birthday party, the kids were having a BLAST! There is a small slide for the younger children and a bigger slide for 3 foot and over people. It has a small lazy river that runs through it and it's all INDOORS. I couldn't believe it! I wanted to jump in myself.

* We rented the Monopoly game for PS2. Maybe we are geeks we have had a freaking blast playing that game.

* THANK YOU Accomplice! I purchased the Wii Mario Kart game and it was a hit with the 6 year old. I purchased it at Game Stop and it came with a free wheel.

* I think I over think too much.

* I am a huge fan of Survivor. I am SO glad JT won. He could pass for a good ole' Wise County boy, easily.

* I think it would be fun to do a show like Big Brother or Survivor, but in most cases if the people had girlfriend/boyfriend when they left for the show, they don't keep them after.

* I think the public recognition would be a beating. I can't imagine what BG goes through ever day.

* My favorite thing from the Schwans lady is the Creamy Chicken Alfredo. It's SO good.

* I don't bake cookies or cake at home because if I did it would never get eaten.

* FYI: Shrimping season started today. I might get to go out on a shrimp boat in a month. I can't wait.

* We are gonna have to mow again next weekend. It will be this every other week mowing till October.

* I ran over a severely decayed raccoon last time. It went into three pieces and oddly enough, didn't stink at all.

* I am going to watch the Season Finale of Desperate Housewives tonight. That show is becoming more and more predictable. It's kind of lame now, but I still watch it.

* I taped every episode of Greys Anatomy this year. I think I watch 4 and went through the DVR and deleted the rest. I just couldn't keep up with all the ones I had fallen behind. I DID watch the Season Finale. It was like I never missed an episode. Everything fell into place. The ending was pretty good too.

* I think George will stay alive, and Izzie will go be with Denny. But, I could be wrong.

Thursday Crap-ola

* Dora looks like she belongs on the streets of Bridgeport after 11 p.m.

* We killed a 3 1/2 foot snake in our back yard. I think it was a Bull Snake. He was big around. I wander if I cut his belly open what I would find? Dang it, should have gotten a pic. I keep forgetting!

* I love my job, but I am always ready for the weekend.

* I have no clue what dinner will be tonight. I made chicken strips last night, they were yummy!

* I'm gonna have to do a separate post on my funeral experience this week and from my past...Weird . . .

* In laws should be in town, they left at 3 am this morning.

* Sister is OK, I checked on her at lunch. She's on some DRUGS for the pain.

* The ducks are still sitting in the invisible cage. That quacks me up.

* When I was in high school we use to go to the screaming bridge in Paradise. One night a car turned on its lights in the pasture near the bridge and started driving towards us. Scared the shit out of us.

* That road and bridge is spooky in the day time.

* We also use to toilet paper. Thinking back now, I would be pissed if I had kids and their friends toilet paper my yard.

* My dog needs a chop job on his fro.

HUMP DAY Crap

* My sister is having surgery today. She's getting roter-rootered so she can try for another baby.


* We shot and killed turtles last night in my sisters pond. Call me redneck, but that was really fun.


* My sister decided her ducks were big enough now to let loose and frolic about by the pond all day. One problem: They are not leaving the area they have been caged in. They are all huddled in the small area, but there is no cage. Is that normal?


* I am hoping my dogs do not view the ducks as a tasty treat for lunch. That would be a bad deal.


* I'm eating salad for lunch, again.


* For some reason I am unable to view any you tube video. It tells me my Java script is turned off so I check it and it's not off. Then it tells me to down load the latest Adobe player, which I do and it says it installed and I go back to view the video and I repeat the process. IT'S VERY FRUSTRATING !! Any suggestions??

* I am hoping the MAVS pull something out of their ass for the game tonight.

* I think I'm gonna make chicken strips for dinner.

* I need to go to Lowes.

* My palm tree is flourishing after I chopped all the branches off from last year.

* I got my air fixed in my car and my dash fell apart (like into many pieces) when they took it off. My car is only 9 years old. Is that normal?

Monday crap

* The rain is making me SO tired and sluggish.

* We finally got all of our yard work done. I am sure after all this rain my yard will look like a jungle by next Sunday.

* I have a birthday party to go to for a 6 year old on Saturday. She's getting a Wii from her parents, what kind of game should I get her??

* In laws will be down from Thursday to Sunday.

* My sisters went to Sea World this past weekend and Jessica Simpson was singing there. I saw pictures, she's not fat at all but it looks like she's sporting a baby bump.

* The Mavs play tonight. I hope they win, but it's not looking to great right now.

* My dad killed a copperhead yesterday. Suprisingly we did not see any snakes while working in the yard this weekend.

* I am ready to go camping this year.

* I am also ready to float the river with a cold beer in my hand.

* My house is the next thing to clean. I need to do laundrey.

* We didn't do anything Friday night.

Pink Eye - The Aftermath

So my eye has finally shed the devil that is pink eye - I hope. I NEVER want that again. Call me a wine-bag, that freaking hurt.

It takes ALOT to make me cry.

I called my sister yesterday afternoon and my nephew answered the phone "Hey Aunt stinky pinky eyeball." At this point I had put my second round of medicine in and it burned . . . bad. I broke down crying. When my sister got the phone from him I was wailing.

It was one of those funny not so funny until you look back on it moments. It wasn't until she realized I was in paid that her voice went from happy go lucky to "Oh know! Are you ok?"

I slept on the couch last night for fear I would infect our newly washed sheets with my skank eye.

"Knock on Wood" my hubby has not got pink eye yet and I am hoping I can tame down the lysol a little.

My house, car and office smell like a Lysol can.

My sisters mother in law died this morning. SO SAD. Wasn't expecting that too happen.

I think brother in law is in shock, but saw it coming eventually. Again, so sad.

I trimmed my palm tree and amazingly, it's not dead like I thought it was.

We are doing yard work ALL weekend.

Say a prayer for my family, it's never easy when you loose someone close.

I AM PISSED ! !

First of all I have Pink Eye . . .

I have never had pink eye before, nor do I ever want to have it again.

I took my clothes to the dry cleaner (to which I will not rat out) Monday and the lady that gave me my ticket said she had pink eye.

I immediately went to work and washed my hands.

Apparently that wasn't good enough.

$80.00 later and 10 days out of my contacts and I should be good to go.

Sheesh . . . So it is the dry cleaners fault for having a lady work with the public??

I don't know but my eye is irritated.

My eyes were sealed shut at 3:00 this morning from the sleep that had seeped and crusted.

I know it's disgusting but people need to be aware of the contagiousness that is pink eye. I didn't even touch the woman!

Now I get to go home and disinfect my whole house!

* I have a friend that lives in Ipswich England. I haven't seen her since 6th grade. Every now and them I will get an email with pictures attached of her family.

* I think I might go rent The Curious Case of Benjamin Button tonight. Anybody seen it?

* I watched Oprah last night about the Madeleine McCann story. It is heart breaking. It has been two years since her disappearance and they still hold out hope she will return. I'm sure I would feel the same way if it were my child. I would never give up looking.

Monday Crap

* This past weekend was just ok.

* I was in Bridgeport Saturday afternoon when the rain came down. I got soaked.

* I stayed in sweatpants and a hoodie all day yesterday.

* I wanna see this movie. My mother saw it when it premiered on HBO. She said it was a tear jerker. I tried to rent it but the movie store doesn't have it yet.

* That new Hugh Jackmen movie doesn't appeal to me at all.

* I can't believe the Cowboy Valley Ranch ordeal. I am amazed nobody got killed. I feel for the guy who got paralyzed. That is really awful.

* Our grass at home is out of control.

* I heard Robin Roberts on Good Morning America this morning say "And now to the Swine Flu. New studies reveal, it's not as dangerous as people expected." - NO SHIT !

* I got to spend time with my youngest nephew Saturday. He is getting so big.

* Weekends are never long enough.

* If I could work 10 hour days Monday-Thursday and have Friday, Saturday and Sunday off, I would do it in a heart beat.

* Why didn't people think of that before? It's genius.

FRIDAY FUN

* I always laugh when I see Elmo sporting a handgun ganster style. Grover is smoking it up in the back while Bert chugs a Bud. Cookie Monsters about to put a cap in yo' ass and Ernie wants to slit your wrists. HA HA Priceless!

* I get off at 3 today! YEH!

* I was told today the swine flu has turned into a politcal media frenzy. I agree.

* My nephew asked about Turbo last night. My response: "I think he floated down to your pond for a bigger place to live". Hey, he was ok with that.

* I cannot believe the Ex Montague County Sheriff dropped dead. That is crazy.

* Starching your own pants saves alot of money. I buy the liquid starch and don't dilute.

* I iron hubbys pants and shirts every night for work the next day.

* My grandmas cat got run over yesterday. Poor grandma . . . she loved that cat. RIP Sarge.

* I bought a 1/2 gallon of Blue Bell ice cream Tuesday night and it was gone by yesterday afternoon. I didn't eat any of it. There is only one other human living in my house. And he doesn't gain a damn pound!

* I am jealous of his metabolism. I have none.

* Fred's was almost out of GermX yesterday.
