Happy Hump

Crab I ate and Beer I drank

*Easter was SO much fun!! We left last Wednesday and got home on Monday. It was a nice get away. The crab, shrimp, gumbo, crawfish, catfish, beer, was delicious as always!

* I didn't know Bud Light sold a PLATINUM beer until I went to Louisiana. Anybody else seen this on shelves, or is Wise County behind on the beer evolution??

* I tried one, it was noticeably stronger than the usual Bud Light, and it tasted pretty good.

* I haven't posted anymore pics of the backyard because I have been waiting on our first cut of the grass we laid down before I took a whole lot of pics, but it looks really good.

*We are taking the pool cover off tonight. Hopefully there are no critters living under there.

*Can I tell you what a beating it is every time we have a family function and I get GRILLED and thrown to the wolves because I am the only female in  both sides of our family to not only NOT pop out a kid, but NOT WANT one either??

*It. Gets. Old.

*Plus, it makes me think we are jacked up in the head. Which is probably more likely of an explanation but we are happy so get over it.

*Got home yesterday to mow and was SO excited because the damn lawn mower started right up. I did one lap around the yard and realized the back tire was flat. After further investigation I realized the front little tire was also flat and off the rim. DAMN IT!! An hour later and a pissed off husband, I started mowing again.

*I think God sprinkled some miracle grow in the rain cause the weeds in my yard look like they are on steroids. I had to mow over them twice and we have a good lawn mower. I only got half way done. Guess what I'm doing tonight till dark??

*I gotta get back to work. Happy Hump day everyone.
