Thirsty Thursday

* SO... we have been trying to decide how are new back yard is going to look. I have been trying to dig up pics off the Internet to get a feel for it. The one above is just an idea. We are building onto our porch and adding a pool in the near future. The porch is suppose to be cedar with vaulted ceiling and ceiling fans, flood lights, speakers, the works. I can't wait. Our backyard is going to be so cool next spring.
* Anybody recommend a pool builder. There is only one in Decatur and I have not heard any first hand count of how they are. I am going to be picky on the pool builder because I have heard plenty of horror stories and I don't want us to go down that road.
* I love my job, I just got my 4th of July bonus. That will be a nice addition to our savings.
* I think we will be boating this weekend, but try and be out of there before the crazy people line up to watch the fireworks in Runaway Bay.
* While walking out of the house this morning to work out I saw a jack rabbit and two deer in our front yard. It was still dark outside, so I got a flash light to make sure I knew what I was looking at. I figures they would run off, but they just sat there and stared back at me.
* Rumor has it we have a cougar with cubs on the loose. Our neighbors has tracks in his yard around his pond.
* I think it's cool and scary all at the same time.
* When other people perform major PDA it grosses me out and makes me uncomfortable. I'm not talking holding hand and the occasional peck, I'm talking people that come hang out or you see at the store and they can't keep their tongues in their mouth. Am I weird?
* We go through a ton of paper plates.
* If someone calls my house or work and ask for the manager, I immediately hang up. That's the first sniff of a salesman.
* I still haven't got to see me new nephew and he is over a month old now. Hopefully we can work out a time, because I want to be as close to him as my other nephews.
* I gotta get back to work.
peace ;)

The soaring ceilings with cedar wood will be awesome. If I could have a pool any way I wanted it- I'd definitely allow for some shade in the heat of the day. Actually, I probably would not have one without it.
People who engage in xs pda have a problem they need to fix- not us. It's rude- we're not prudes for thinking that way.
My guess is cougars are way, WAY more widespread in our area than they are given credit for. They've been declared absent in areas and witnesses called mistaken which is then followed by a momma cougar munching on a jogger...
They're all over Palo Pinto and surrounding counties. I promise you, they're thicker than they get credit for.
Be good. I think your blog has come a long way.

PS I detoured thru Paradise the other day so my girlfriend could say she'd been there. Being the sport she is she said,"This is the second time you took me to Paradise today."
She rocks.

Thanks for the compliment on my blog. I just write whatever I feel like writing. Half the time I wander if people even read, but I don't care. Either way it's a way for me to express myself. Thanks for reading. I really enjoy your blog and your talks about your patients. I went to school to be a nurse about 5 years ago and realized it takes a very special person to do the job. I loved working with the elderly, but nursing wasn't for me. I missed my paralegal job. Your blog rocks and so does your girlfriend ;)
