Weekend, here we go...

* So this week started out a little rough.

* I had to get up at the crack ass of dawn on Monday and drive myself 3 1/2 hours to Oklahoma City, go into the doctor for 20 minutes and jump back on the interstate for another 3 1/2 hour drive home. ughh... and I was all by myself.

* I barely escaped a ticket. I was running about 80 over a bridge. The copper was at the bottom. He immediately got in behind me. I suddenly got the "Awe shit!!! Great now I'm getting a ticket. Damn it!!!!!!" He followed me long enough to probably run my plates and then he passed me. "Are you kidding???" "Thank you Jesus!!". I drove the speed limit the rest of the way because I feel like God was giving me a clue to slow down. If I would have kept speeding Karma would've been back at me and I would've gotten a ticket on down the road.

* I DVR 20/20 on Friday nights and the last one that was on was about a man who was a truck driver/murderer. I can't remember how many people he had killed on his travels but I can guarantee you when I had to stop at a LOVE'S truck stop in Ardmore, Oklahoma by myself... Oh man.... that creepy guy and every truck driver at LOVE'S was making me a little paranoid.

* I started to feel my throat hurting on Monday. By Tuesday, I had the full blown snots and stuffy head. I'm pretty much over it now. I think it was the cold front that blew something in.

* We had a guy stop by the house yesterday around 6:00 p.m. trying to sell water softeners. He wasn't in a company labeled truck and he had a slobby looking guy sitting in the passenger seat. Hubby talked to him at the front door and just said we already had one, but something doesn't seem right about it. My first thought is they are posing as water softener salesman to maybe get a look see into your house or shop. Check the goodies and BAM!!!!!! Your shop and house just got broke into while you were working. He left a flyer. Maybe I'm just paranoid.

* Back to working out and it feels so good. I have been able to do my regular workout, just like normal. It feels a tad weird, ya know with them bouncing and all, but who cares.

* I am really liking the weather but I have a confession to make: I went into the closet yesterday morning after breakfast and grabbed my sweater jacket when I went outside to feed the dogs. It was chilly. I felt like a puss bag, but I didn't care.

* I LOVE ME SOME BIG BROTHER!! The episode last night couldn't have gone any better than it did.

* This weekend I have to gather EVERYTHING for the upcoming garage sale at my sisters in Bridgeport. Everyone should come buy all our crap. No, really I have some really nice clothes I'm selling. Most I can't fit into anymore, but hubby (whether he likes it or not), is parting with a bunch of his clothes, and some of his stuff still has tags on it because he decided after he bought it he didn't like the color.

* This day is zooming by which is rare for a Friday. They usually drag by.

* I love me some green grapes. Been eating the hound out them since they have been on sale lately.

* My oldest nephew started school Monday. He ran over to my house that afternoon to tell me all about it. He was most excited that he got to choose what he ate for lunch. He apparently never had an option in day care.

* There are 17 kids in his class at Paradise. My sister told me that each week a kids parent has to provide a snack for the entire class the whole week. That's 17 kids X 50 cents a snack X 5 days a week. That comes to about $45.00, give or take after tax. So, what if the kids parents don''t have that kind of money. I am guessing if your child is in the free lunch program, your child's name is not on the snack lists. Oh and the snack cannot be chips, chocolate, cookies, or anything with sugar in it. Basically no junk food. I still can't think of a snack that she could bring, other than maybe fruit snacks of sugar free jello?

* I gotta bounce and get back to work. I'm feeling great today. Hopefully a good sign for the weekend.

peace. be safe.

Something tells me if these men knew they were gonna be trapped together for 4 months, this newly released raw video wouldn't be near as entertaining

AHHHH . . . . alas it's Friday

* I couldn't resist the picture...
* So I got me a new pair of girls and I get my stiches out Monday. I can't wait. This wrap I have had on them for 2 weeks is killing my back.
* I want to see my before and after. It's hard to tell when you look at them every day.
* A lady came by the office today and I swear, she had to be the most miserable person I have been around in a while. Her attitude, demeanor, antics, everything sucked. It's like she hated me because I typed up a paper for her to sign. I try and lay the niceness on SUPER thick when people act like that.
* I reconnected with an two old best friends in one month. Can you say a little awkward. Both relationships had gone south for, well lets just say reasons I didn't understand.
* One is seperated from her husband and the other didn't tell her husband she was going to see us because apparently that would ignite a shit storm.
* Too much drama for me.
* I cannot stand the freaking drama lama.
* I have been SO busy this week at work, but I'm glad. Rather be busy than not.
* We are trying to plan a trip to the Schlitterbahn cause my brother in law got free tickets. I haven't been since I was young and my parents took us. I am getting pretty pumped up about it.
* We met a couple in Cancun this past July. It just so happens they are coming up this weekend to visit. That seems crazy, but they live in Round Rock and will be in Fort Worth for something this weekend so they are just going to come chill and spend the night.
* I'll write more later. I gotta get back to work.

Hump Day . . .

* I got that tattoo in Mexico but it's fake. I'm seriously contemplating down sizing it by about 1/2 and putting it on permanently. Is three tats too trashy if you can hide them??

* Vacation was a blast. Alot of drink, alot of partying, and alot of food.

* I actually lost weight on vacation.

* I am down to 126. That is 44 pounds since February. I am very proud of myself and all the hard work I have done. I wish I could slack off a little, but the weight would come back. Plus I feel better after working out every day.

* My husband told me to not get passed 120... I don't think he has ever said you are starting to look too skinny.

* Now he wants to buy me a rack. Those poor bastards just went completely away. Sheesh, I think he wants them more than I do. I have never ever felt like I needed fake boobs, till now.

* The new Eminem CD is the bomb... just saying ;)

* I always liked his music cause it's not just rap. His words tell a story.

* I wander how many people got a DWI in Wise County over the 4th of July weekend?

* Me and hubby are talking about putting a pool in soon. Any recommendations, do and dont's, or advice?

* I had a horrible charley-horse in my leg Sunday night. It still hurts.

* My sister is having a colonoscopy this morning. Keep your fingers crossed. My gyno recommends I have one when I turn 30. Better safe than sorry I guess.

* I had some weird dreams last night.
* The funniest thing I saw on TV last night, Lindsey Lohan sentenced to 90 days in jail, plus 90 days of rehab. That's either gonna be the best thing for her or this will have put her over the edge and she will go A-wall in the next two weeks, resulting in her death. Just saying... that girl ain't stable. She is PISSED and she is an ADDICT. But, I doubt she serves a full 90 days. I give it less than a few weeks.
* I finally got an iphone. I've never had one, and I love it. The battery drains easily. Any advice would be great. I turned the auto brightness down. Also, if anybody knows any apps that are cool, let me know.
* I gotta get to work. Peace!

Meet Meemo...

Meet Meemo. We named her Meemo cause she showed up on my neighbors back porch on Memorial Day morning. There was no sign of her mom and she was scared to death. I bet she isn't a week old. They went to the feed store and got her some milk. I guess they have a new pet now. She is the most adorable little deer. You can hold her like a baby and bottle feed her. She makes these crazy noises when you walk away from her like she's saying "mommy come back". I'm suppose to deer sit tomorrow for the night. We will see how that goes.

FRIDAY! Hellzzzz YEH!

* I like the B.O.B. song Airplanes. It's really catchy.
* I cannot begin to tell you people how happy I am that it is Friday. This week seemed to drag on forever.
* Shopping and getting my hair did is on my to do list this weekend. I get to see one of my really great friends today.
* and it's a 3 day weekend . . .WOOHOO!!
* The guy on the you tube video on Barry's blog creeps me the hell out. Their are some crazy ass people out there. What if it was a gun in his hand and he just decided right before the door opened he was going to spare your life? You just never know...
* Which leads to me to the next question... Would you wanna know when and how you were gonna die? I can see positives and negatives on both sides of it. I caught a glimpse of previews for a new t.v. show that flashed into the future and people see their future demise, break up of marriages, deaths of family... on second thought... No I just want to go when the good Lord wants me and I don't want to know anything. If we knew every little detail of what our lives hold, what would you live for?
* OK... I didn't mean to get so deep in thought ...
* Accomplice is lucky she has a boat to spend the weekend on. I wish we still had our boat, but building a house was way worth loosing a few toys.
* I'M JUST HAPPY IT IS FRIDAY AND IT'S A LONG WEEKEND.
* EVERYONE STAY SAFE, DRINK RESPONSIBLY, I KNOW I WILL BE!!

Friday, May 21, 2010

From my email...

* I am seriously contemplating an iphone. I have been going back and forth on it for quite some time now. I can't decide if I want a blackberry or iphone. Any suggestions peeps?? I have ever had either one. I have a Blackjack right now. I'm just a little worried about the no insurance i phone thing cause I drop my phone alot.
* I get off work early today!! Yippee! Here I come more yard work.
* I think I have said it before, but I love me some Modern Family!! That is the best show on TV in my opinion. The show that comes on before it is called The Middle, I really like that one too.
* Almost every channel, excluding the news is Paid Programming at 5:30 in the morning. That gets really annoying when you are trying to keep yourself interested while working out. Oh, by the way the Jerry Springer show comes on at 5:30 in the afternoon on the GSN channel. Yesterday this black guy had two kids in one year by 2 baby mamas...WOW
* My nephew finally got his body cast off. He is free!! Now my sister is gonna have to put him on a leash. lol
* I'm SO GLAD it is Friday. I know we are going to be busting ass on the retaining wall this weekend but I don't care, cause it's the weekend!!! :) :)
I'm out. peace.

My Guilty Pleasure

Yes, Jerry Springer is trashy, but ya gotta love him!!
I watch his new show Baggage on GSN while I work out now. It's a dating show, which I normally wouldn't watch but some of the people on here reveal some MAJOR baggage. Hey, at least it keeps me entertained for my 30 minute work out.

Wednesday, May 19, 2010

* HA HA! We use to own a Notro boat. lol.

* We have a slight risk of storms tonight, but I have had two different people say it was suppose to get really bad tonight. I hope they are wrong.

* We still have my brother in laws dog. He got kicked out of his apartmenet in Ft. Worth and asked us to watch it over a weekend (going on 4 months ago) while he found another apartment It doesn't take me long to feel sorry for animals, but this dog has got to go. He is about to become bow practice for my husband if he chews up one more thing!! I can't take it. He has jumped on my car and scratched all down the side, chewed up $50 water hoses and eats like a pig. He gets under my feet while I'm trying to walk and has absolutely no discipline what so ever. It's his time. I don't care where he goes he just needs to go.

* Last night we got the whole first layer of retaining wall layed. Sheesh... thank God for my Dad and our neighbor. Me and hubby would have been out there (probably killing each other) by the time we got that done. If you don't get it level all the way around your wall will ultimatly fall and all the hard work you busted your ass doing will be for nothing. We have way to much money in that wall to do it half ass. (which for me makes it even more stressful that we do it right) I will try and take some pics and post of the progress.

* ANY BRIDGEPORT READERS BEWARE: My sister lives on Harwood Street in Bridgeport. Just to let you know there is a peeping tom in your neighborhood. My sister saw him looking into their bathroom window a couple weeks ago about 1:00 in the morning. She called the cops but he was never found. That creeps me the hell out.

* My 10 year high school reunion is coming up. I think I should be way more excited than I am. We are suppose to go, just not really looking forward to it, and I really don't know why.

* My mom and dad had baby ducks this week. They have never had a set of ducks that actually produced baby ducks. Usually we would either eat the eggs or they would rott. Apparently we have a good mama this time that likes to sit on her nest.

Aren't they cute?

This is just wrong . . . BUT FUNNY!!

Rocky premiered on the show Intervention about a month ago. He use to be a famous boxer and he turned into a crack head and homeless. Anyways... on with my point.

Let me just tell you first off (or I guess 2nd) that I love the show Intervention. Not only because it is entertaining but it's pretty hard core reality. Anyways, hubby and I actually watched this episode about a month ago and about the time I start tearing up during the actual intervention the following happened . . .

. . . We both looked at each other and started CRACKING UP LAUGHING!!!! I didn't know other people thought it was as funny as we did until I ran across it on youtube. I realize it's a little sick and wrong but you know your probably laughing your ass off right now and watching it again.

Move over stanky leg...

* I have got to get back in the habit of blogging. I enjoy it. I think it's therapudic for me.
* We have started building a 4 foot retaining wall at our home. That is HARD WORK!! My shoulder blades feel like a bull stomped on them.
* We dug a 6'X4' hole looking for our electric line... then we found out my brother in law has a line locator. He came right over and found it in about 1 minute. It was 2 foot underground, about 6 inches over.
* That was a major power down after a days worth of diggin through hard clay.
* I have now lost 33 1/2 pounds in 3 months. Diet and excersise do work.
* I need to buy some new clothes. I like shopping but I hate spending alot of money.
* I LOVE LOVE LOVE me some resale shops. I bought a pair of heels for $3.25 yesterday. It didn't even look like they had ever been worn.
* I'll try and get in the habit of writing more often. Just been so busy.

Already begging for Friday!!!

* As you can see in the above picture, Sadie had her fair share of Easter eggs last weekend.
* I was not really looking forward to Easter this year, but it turned out really nice and the kids seemed to really enjoy hunting eggs.
* We worked in our yard all day long yesterday.
* My everything is sore, I guess from the riding lawn mower?
* We trashed all of our solar lights. After two years the paint on them had faded and ultimatly they are expensive to keep up with. Batteries for them were around $8 or $9 for 4 batteries and each one took two.
* That adds up real quick when you have about 20 lights to replace.
* We are thinking of getting electric ones. Not sure yet.
* I renewed my license over almost a month ago and I still don't have it back yet.
* I'm so ready for summer.
* Our yard looks so nice after we mow. But now that we have mowed it's gonna need to be mowed every week or every other week.
* Kellogg Protein Bars are ridiculously expensive. $7.19 for 6 freaking bars!! Are you kidding me?
* Hubby is on a high protein diet.
* I was really hoping to win the lottery Saturday but it didn't happen.
* Me and hubby went to play golf Saturday and shot a 75. (playing best ball) That's an all time low for us.

Tuesday, March 23, 2010

Been a while. . .

* Things haven't exactly gone as planned in my world the last couple months. Here are a few things to catch you up.
* I lost one of my cousins in a bad car accident the day after my birthday. His son is only a few months old. Hard. To. Except.

* Murphy went missing... again, except for he has been gone since March 4th, the day after we buried my cousin. He is still M.I.A. I'm not sure if a coyote got him or someone stole him. It's very sad for me. I had him since he was 6 months old and he was almost 8. At least we got spend alot of time with him the past few months because he had to be in the house because of his leg. I will forever cherish those moments.

* I just had $500 worth of work done on my POS car, but I guess I can't gripe too much I haven't had a car payment in 6 years.

* We now have a scheduled vacation in our future. Cancun Mexico here I come!

* I have lost 21 pounds in 6 weeks due to excercises and counting my calories. I feel great and I only have about 20 more to reach my goal.

* We have been watching LIFE, the Discovery Channel documentary.

* We rented Law Abiding Citizen, which to be honest with you, I had never heard about. I have to say, it was the best movie I have seen in a long time.

* Last night we watched The Blind Side. It was ok, but man did they play down Michael Ohr to be extremely unintelligent. At some point in the movie I thought it was too much dumbness from the poor black kid from the streets.

* The news of the kid dying at Rocky Ridge this past weekend makes me sad. But, it is a very dangerous place to go if you are not careful of yourself and other drivers. We have been there numerous times and had a blast, but I did roll my four wheeler on top of my head back in 2006, and made a mad dash to the ER. I don't think the parents will sue. You sign a waiver when you go in to "ride at your own risk". And trust me there are plenty of risky situations to get yourself into there.

* I'm never been so ready for summer. We have been playing alot of golf and I got my first birdie a few weeks ago. 2 strokes is all it took.

* I need to work on our flower beds and start mowing soon.

* Oh, by the way... We are trying to sale our 100 gallon fish tank with the filters, rock, lights, stand and canopy, if anyone is interested.

* I gotta get back to work. Hope everyone has a great week.

DUMBO

Dumbo was my absolute favorite movie when I was growing up. I went over to visit my nephew the other day and he was watching it. I think they were dropping acid when they made the pink elephant song. It is crazy me how many things my pure mind didnt pick up on when I was little. Now rewatching it Dumbo gets drunk, the only men working are black, the crows are well black and talk black. It's fun to rewatch it now at my age. I picked up on alot of stuff they were throwing down.

tryin to catch up...

* I was off all week last week to do some much needed spring cleaning. I enjoyed being off but I was ready to come back.
* Damn the baseboards of my home were dusty. Seriously! Go home and get eye level with your baseboards. You will be surprised how dusty they can get.
* We made the trip to New Orleans last week. We left Saturday after New Years and were back by last Tuesday afternoon. Quick trip. I wish we could have stayed longer.
* I have never been to a Rosary before. It was very interesting/confusing.
* I found out this weekend some of our good friends are going to be going through a divorce. Sad to say the least.
* After reading Barrys blog, I wanna go to Costa Rica.
* I have way too many other things that need paying for first, unfortunately.
* We are having Chicken stuffed with crawfish tonight for dinner. My mouth is already watering.
* I am starting the couch to 5K tonight. I need to lose some weight. I need motivation to start and to keep it going. My husband says he is going to work-out with me. sure for maybe the first day.... I have to stick with it this year. I'm determined. I don't even own a scale at home. Oh well. I'll know when I start losing weight.
* Instead of Buying a Wii I asked both of my sister where our old Super Nintendo was and my oldest sister had it, OMG . . . it still works!!
* I played Super Mario World all weekend! My husband thought I was crazy until he started playing too. I think I got him hooked.

Murphy WHY?????

So Murphy's check up didn't go so good yesterday. As you can see, below. His metal plate is broke. How does this happen? Aren't those metal plates? He doesn't run, I won't let him play for fear he will mess it up some more. I just don't understand... The bone calis it starting to grow over the plate so I am hoping we won't have to do anything further. He still only uses it occasionally. I have to take him back in another month. Geesh...

Edit: I don't know why but I can't get the Xray pic to blow up... trust me it's bee-roke.

That is a hard headed deer - arrow right through his head

* Oh how I wish Tuesday was always a 1/2 way mark, oh well. I'm just lucky I have a job.

* I have been having bizarre dreams that are so real I wake myself up jerking around. I have laways had bizarre dreams but not enough physically move around in my sleep.

* The precipitation in coming down pretty quick like outside.

* I played Super Mario Brothers on the Wii at my sister yesterday. Holy smokes! I want to go and buy a Wii now so I can keep playing. It brought me back at least 15 years ago. I thought I would just buy it for the Playstation but you can't get Mario Playstation games. What a downer...

* It has been almost 3 years since we built our home and I have never cleaned the carpets other than vaccuming. Is that bad? I think next week I'm gonna take off and do a bunch of spring cleaning, including cleaning the carpets.

* Murphy goes back to the doctor tomorrow. Wish us luck. A month ago the doctor said his leg wasn't healing as well as expected. I figured by now there is no going back whatever the outcome. All I know is I did the best I could keeping him in the house and in his cage at night. I'm gonna keep my fingers crossed.

Sadie says "How you doin'?"

* Driving in the ice Chrsitmas Eve was in a word STRESSFUL. We left North Richland Hills at 4:00 and didn't make it home till 6:30. 287 was horrible. We saw truck go out of control hit the median and land on the opposite side of 287 facing oncoming traffic. Thank God nobody hit them, they had kids in the back seat.
* We had three foot snow drifts in our backyard Christmas Eve.
* I broke down and got my husband a SkyCaddy for Christmas and I even surprised him, which never happens.
* My husband grandfather died which means a trip to New Orleans for a funeral is in our future.
* I'm glad the year is getting over with.
* It hasn't been the worse year but I'm ready for a recharge.
* I'm about to start a workout couch to 5k in three months. wish. me. luck.
* I am the worst about wanting to get into shape and actually getting my lazy butt off the couch and doing it.
* I always feel 100% better after working out knowing I did it.
* I will have to keep you updated on that.

Funny . . .

Tear Jerker Poem from my email

The embers glowed softly, and in their dim light, I gazed round the room and I cherished the sight. My wife was asleep, her head on my chest, My daughter beside me, angelic in rest. Outside the snow fell, a blanket of white, Transforming the yard to a winter delight.
The sparkling lights in the tree I believe, Completed the magic that was Christmas Eve. My eyelids were heavy, my breathing was deep, Secure and surrounded by love I would sleep. In perfect contentment, or so it would seem, So I slumbered, perhaps I started to dream.
The sound wasn't loud, and it wasn't too near, But I opened my eyes when it tickled my ear.. Perhaps just a cough, I didn't quite know, Then the sure sound of footsteps outside in the snow. My soul gave a tremble, I struggled to hear, And I crept to the door just to see who was near.

Standing out in the cold and the dark of the night, A lone figure stood, his face weary and tight. A soldier, I puzzled, some twenty years old, Perhaps a Marine, huddled here in the cold. Alone in the dark, he looked up and smiled, Standing watch over me, and my wife and my child.
"What are you doing?" I asked without fear, "Come in this moment, it's freezing out here! Put down your pack, brush the snow from your sleeve, You should be at home on a cold Christmas Eve!" For barely a moment I saw his eyes shift, Away from the cold and the snow blown in drifts..

To the window that danced with a warm fire's light Then he sighed and he said "Its really all right, I'm out here by choice. I'm here every night." "It's my duty to stand at the front of the line, That separates you from the darkest of times.
No one had to ask or beg or implore me, I'm proud to stand here like my fathers before me. My Gramps died at ' Pearl on a day in December," Then he sighed, "That's a Christmas 'Gram always remembers." My dad stood his watch in the jungles of ' Nam ', And now it is my turn and so, here I am.
I've not seen my own son in more than a while, But my wife sends me pictures, he's sure got her smile. Then he bent and he carefully pulled from his bag, The red, white, and blue... an American flag. I can live through the cold and the being alone, Away from my family, my house and my home.
I can stand at my post through the rain and the sleet, I can sleep in a foxhole with little to eat. I can carry the weight of killing another, Or lay down my life with my sister and brother.. Who stand at the front against any and all, To ensure for all time that this flag will not fall.."
" So go back inside," he said, "harbor no fright, Your family is waiting and I'll be all right." "But isn't there something I can do, at the least, "Give you money," I asked, "or prepare you a feast? It seems all too little for all that you've done, For being away from your wife and your son."
Then his eye welled a tear that held no regret, "Just tell us you love us, and never forget. To fight for our rights back at home while we're gone, To stand your own watch, no matter how long. For when we come home, either standing or dead, To know you remember we fought and we bled. Is payment enough, and with that we will trust, That we mattered to you as you mattered to us."

I love Chris Farley

Ready for the weekend

My washing machine took a dump and it was only three years old. I ordered me another one and I'm suppose to pick it up today. That is one of those emergency money things you wish you had money in savings to pay for.

I have four more things of salsa left to can. I'm ready to be done with canning. It's not hard once you get the hang of it, it's just a pain getting everything ready for it.

The dead deer in the yard has disappeared, I am guessing the dogs drug it somewhere else. Good for me cause I didn't want to haul it off.

We have recieved a ton of Christmas cards this year.

Shambo got the boot last night on Survivor. She lasted way longer than I thought she would.

I don't have alot today.

Merry Christmas !!

I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas! Thank you Jesus, Thank you Lord!

Thirsty Thursday

One of my favorite shows is Dexter, a series on Showtime. The Season Finale aired Sunday and I watched it last night. I can't believe they killed of Rita!! I am very upset. I think that is a sign of a really good series when you are so consumed with the characters it emotionally distresses you when someone dies.

I have been watching Nip/Tuck this season. . . WOW. That show is crazy good. I don't think it will be on next year, that's ashame.

Survivor Finale is this weekend. I hope Russell wins but he's been cocky the whole game, so it's bound to come and bite him in the butt.

Two more weeks and Murphy gets the boot back outside.

I came home yesterday and found another dead deer head and carcus in our yard. That is the 3rd deer the dogs have drug up this season.

I'm am doing all of my Christmas shopping this weekend. I am such a procrastinator.

We have been canning homeade BBQ sauce and Salsa for Christmas baskets this year. It is SO good.

I'm really getting sick of hearing about Tiger Woods.

I really wanna go somewhere tropical this year.

I ate a piece of Turkey and cheese for lunch with mustard.

The music at the courthouse in Decatur is a wee-bit loud. Do they do that ever year?

Nothing like being in a courtroom while the sound of lovely Christmas music plays in the background. At least you have something to look forward to when you walk back to your car.

BOOB - A- LICIOUS. . .

* Thanksgiving at the deer lease was wonderful. We always eat so much when we go there.

* I have to attend a funeral Friday for one of my neighbors. He was a good man. There will never be another Bud Tanner.

* The Tiger Woods cheating scandal cracks me up. People are all over the radio saying he was a role model, he has ruined his career, ect . . . Who cares people !!! Just because he is a celebrity just goes to show you how far we put people like him on a pedestal. It's ridiculous to me, and if everyone would take a step back from the situation you would realized it's NOBODY'S business where he putts his ball, except for him and his family. He has to live with that.

* On the other hand it makes me want to smack men or women for doing something so irresponsible and embarrassing to their families. Eventually, celebrity or not, you WILL get caught.

* I have said it before, but I am really not a big fan of cold weather. Me no likey.

* Murphy has a doctor's appointment today. We are past the 1/2 way point. Hopefully his leg is healing nicely.

* I'm trying to figure Christmas gifts in my head and it's not working. I always have brain block when it comes to getting gifts for others.

* My nephews 5th birthday party is this weekend. I can't believe he will be 5!

* That makes me feel old.

Happy Thanksgiving

* I think I am about to delete my myspace account. It's just not fun anymore and I hardly ever long into it.

* I cannot freaking believe it is Thanksgiving time.

* I love buying gifts for people, but I cannot stand trying to figure out what people want.

* My hubby bought me a new gun. 22-250 decked out with Nikon scope. It's sweet!!

* I need to take ear plugs to the deer lease for when I shoot it. My ears are flipping sensitive.

* I have to make 3 cheese cakes tonight... 3!!!!!

* I also have a bunch of laundry to do and stuff to get ready for the weekend.

* I'm out, I'll try and post tomorrow but I have been really busy with work so I don't know.

By the way, Murphy looks pretty comfy huh? He comes to work with me now that he can't be on his leg for 4 more weeks.

After Murphy's Surgery

* See those two loose pieces? The doctor is hoping they will grow back to the bone in 6 weeks. If not, they may have to amputate his leg. But, I have to think positive, do what the doctor tells me to do and go from there. It is what it is.
* For the most part Murphy has been good about staying off of it.
* I have had a problem with him not wanting to use the bathroom outside or he cant figure it out how to. He peed on himself last night after I tried to get him to pee up to 8 times that day and about 5 minutes before he decided to go.
* It is very frustrating for me, I'm sure it's really frustrating for him.
* Oh and his csat can't get wet so I have been trying to keep a baggie over it when I take him out. Now I'm afraid he is going to pee on his cast in his cage so I wrapped it before I left for work.
* I don't have kids and now I know why. Murphy barks when I leave his sight. I'm sure kids are 110% worse to take care of. But at least eventually they can communicate with you besides barking and wagging a tail.
* I gotta go, alot of work to do.

This is an amazing story ...

"The monkey had ripped off her entire upper jaw, had ripped off her nose, which as hanging by a thread. We found extensive dirt, chimp fur, and chimp teeth implanted in her bone." - EMS First Responder on the scene.

If you do not watch The Oprah Winfrey show you should at least youtube this story. Her face looks pretty bad but this woman's spirit is AMAZING. After I watched Oprah on my DVR last night I was almost in tears. This woman is so brave and positive. It's just a horrible tradgedy and she i making the best of it.

Murphy Saga Continues . . .

That is Murphy's leg ...
So I get off at three on Friday afternoon and decided to walk a mile or so with my mom and neighbor. Murphy and Sadie followed us down the road. The neighbor dog went up to Murphy and with no warning attacked him. She shook him back and forth and then threw him in the air. I thought when he hit the ground he was going to be dead because I figured his neck was broke. He amazingly got up and hauled ass. I saw the whole thing happen. He was running but only on three legs. His back leg was twisted in the opposite direction and dangeling down. It was gross. I scooped him up, he was yelping, I was 1/2 a mile from home and all I could do was walk really quick. Anyways, we got him to the vet by 4:30 and he spent the night Friday night. I got to bring him home Saturday and Sunday and I had to return him for surgery this morning. Pins and plates in his legs. The doctor seemed to think he cold fix him. Please say a prayer for me. I am blessed to have neighbors like I do, they offered to pay for everything and even went with me to see the vet Saturday morning.

FRIDAY!!!!!

* One of your peeps at the office brought this in a couple weeks ago. This feeder is between the Jack/Wise County line.
* I made my Pepaw a cheese cake last night. He fell in his cellar Wednesday night and hurt his arm really bad. No broken bones, just missing flesh. I figured the cheesecake would make him feel a little better.
* I also gave a pair of steel toe boots to a man that really needs them.
* I talked my mom into bringing me chinese food for lunch. YUMMY!!
* I started working out again. I am so proud of myself after I'm done. It's just getting motivated to get off my ass that's the hard part. I have a really good support system now so I feel confident, at least today.
* I spoke to the hubby this morning, he doesn't care about anything but deer, hogs, BEER and big horns, he is in deer lease mode.
* Is Bowie trade days this weekend?? I haven't been in years but it looks like it is gonna be a nice weekend and it sounds like alot of fun.

1/2 way to Friday !!

* This week has been unusually busy.
* I'm so glad the Cowboys won. I hope we can keep it going.
* I really am getting sick of people talking about Michael Jackson. I never was a huge Michael Jackson fan and I understood all the hype when he died, but GEEZ people!! Get over it. I think if they handed that new movie out for free, I'd never watch it. It doesn't peak my interests at all.
* I am still debating an iPhone I just don't want to pay the extra service charge that goes with it ever month. It's ridiculous.
* I want to see the Hangover and My Sisters Keeper. Two opposite movies, but both look really good.
* Murphy has still been really good about staying home but when I left this morning he wasn't on the back porch. I'm sure he is safe but I almost turned around to search for him. If I did that every time I would go crazy.
* This weekend is opening day of deer season!! I think its gonna be a good year.
* I'm not ready for winter. In fact I would rather pass it all together and go from fall to spring.
* I broke a 100,000 miles on my car this week. I drive a 10 year old car because I don't have a car payment and it gets excellent gas mileage. We have a brand new truck at home we drive on the weekends and when we go out of town. Some people thinks that's crazy, but the way I look at it we are saving on gas and keeping the wear and tear and mileage down on our nice truck.
* I try to blog everyday if I have time, but sometimes I just don't know what the hell to say.
* We cooked a brisket this weekend. Hubby made his own rub and then put it on the smoker about 5:00 Friday afternoon. I took it off at 1:00 a.m. and then cooked it in the oven on low till about 5:00 Saturday afternoon. It was SO good. Fell apart while we were slicing it.
* The story of the three girls that ran their jeep in a lake and drowned. Something sounds strange about that story. The police say no alcohol was involved and there was no evidence the girls tried to escape. It just sounds bizarre that all three died from drowning and none of them struggled to get out??
* The guy with all the dead bodies stacked up in his house. GEESH!!!! I told you there are Crazy ass people out there. It really makes you wander about everyone. Everyone has skeletons in the closet, but not literally!!!
* I'm done for now, I gotta get some work done.

Down hill from here...

* I would shit myself if my husband did the above to me! But it is funny!

* OK, I made pork chops last night and put turkey gravy on them. It was SO good!

* I went to Walmart today. I really dislike Walmart but I didn't have a choice. I had to go. I got me some really cute Ugg boots though and some major stuff to touch up my Halloween costume.

* I ate Taco Bell with one of my sisters today. It was ok, I guess.

* I love the new Kelly Clarkson song Already Gone. It's a really pretty ballad.

* I need to go and buy dog food. I forgot to add it to my list before I went to wally world.

* My prayers are with the family from Forestburg. Such a tragic accident.

* I try and pray every single night before I go to sleep, but sometimes I dose off into sleep on the night prayer. I think Jesus understands.

* We need to buy a new lawn mower. We used my neighbors all year and it's time to quit borrowing and buy one of our own. I just don't want to spend the money!

* I'm getting really pumped for deer season this year!

* I still need to buy me a new camera.

I have GREAT NEWS!!

* I can't believe it myself, but I got Murphy back last Friday!! I was SO excited. Someone had picked him up and saw the flyers I had made. I cannot tell you how happy I was. He is like a child to us. I'm very grateful the lady that had him took very good care of him and called us.

* I am making my costume out of colored duct tape this year, wish me luck. It should be interesting.

* I dont ever think you are too old to dress up. Halloween is one of my favorite times of the year. You can be whoever you want to be.

* I think I'm gonna make grilled porch chops for dinner tonight.

I am really bummed out...

I'm so bummed. We lost our first born over the weekend. I have called the shelter, I have been door to door, and I don't know what else to do. It's devastating. We don't have children, we have dogs. We had Murphy for seven years. I hope he is alive and we get him back soon, but it don't look promising. He went missing during the day and nobody knows what happen to him. He just disappeared. We can't find even a sign that he may have been hit by a car or attacked. My last resort is to post an add in the paper under lost dogs. Any other suggestions, please let me know.

I keep telling myself someone has him and he is ok, but people can be crazy and cruel. All I can think is everything happens for a reason.

:(

Ready to rock and roll...

* OK, it is bad enough that the kid puked on national tv. But you have to watch the Dads face when his son vomits. He looks like he was about to lose it himself. SO FUNNY! This story is golden in so many ways. It just keeps getting better and better. Thanks BG for the link.

Thirsty Thursday

* I have been trying to find a really unique Halloween costume. No luck. Why can't I find one that I like?? I go through this every year.

* I really wanna pimp the party out this year so I'm trying to think of some cheap ways to do that.

* It was SO cold in the office this morning. I got my freeze on.

* My first born almost got hit this morning. I think he is getting Alzheimer's.

* I cannot believe Christmas is around the corner. I love buying gifts for people, but I hate trying to figure out what to buy them.

* No plans this weekend which is cool, because after this weekend we have plans almost every weekend till after New Years.

* Any suggestions for a homemade Halloween costume. I came up with a white shirt painted P and a black eye (black eyed P) and I got the "your a dumb ass look" from everyone. hmm... I thought it was a cute idea.

Tuesday, October 13, 2009

* I watched the DJ AM Gone Too Far Series last night on MTV. I had mixed feelings about it, but for the most part it was very, very sad. Just to know that he was trying to make a difference and save other people while struggling to fight his own demons was a little tuff to watch, but for the most part I'm glad MTV is airing the series and hopefully it helps addicts get the help they need.

* I have a twitter account, but rarely use it.

* I have two nephews birthdays coming up - 1 will be 5 the other will be 2, both boys. Any birthday gift suggestions for a two and five year old?

* 12 funny roller coaster pictures.

SPOOKY !!!!!!

* Ok, so I get a call from someone last night saying that the "planets are all aligned tonight, get your broom sweep from north to south and it will stand up straight by itself." My first thought was - "lay off the crack pipe". But, I tried it anyways... and it WORKED!!!!!!!! Craziest ass thing I have seen in a long time. Even after the storms last night it was still standing this morning. I didn't touch it cause I wanted to see how long it would stay up by itself. You could actually feel the gravity pull when you let it go. Try it and see if it still works. Here is the picture to prove it.

* I'm glad it is Friday, but I really don't have any major plans this weekend.

* I think I want a new set of golf clubs for Christmas. I never thought I would enjoy golf, but in the past year in a half I have really been into it. It's something fun to do with my other half.

* I hope everyone has a great weekend!

JON VS. NANCY GRACE ROUND 2 !!

Oh SNAP !! This is good shit.

* Jon Gosselin is a TOOL and Nancy Grace just owned the shit out of him.
* I am not looking forward to the rain the next couple of days.
* My new Rocky boots work really good in rattlesnake land but getting them broke in is a bitch. I should have listened and wore them around the house for the week before we went out there.
* I saw at least 70 deer Friday night when we got to the lease. It was like the movies. Never seen anything like that before in my life.
* I'm hoping that means a good year for us.
* It rained almost all night Saturday so getting shit together Sunday morning was a bit of a bitch, but we managed.
* The hunt is on for a Halloween costume.
* I cant wait till the Hangover comes out on DVD.
* Not got much today. Maybe after while.

Thirsty Thursday ! !

* Actual picture of the two folks christening the new cowboys stadium this week. I feel a little disgusted that they used the bathroom floor to huh, make history, but in a way I give them props for getting it on in such a public place and letting people video it just say " Hey I have done it at the new cowboys stadium." Video and more picures here...

* It was SO humid this morning.
*I bought me a new pair of binoculars. Nikon for $89.99 Cabelas.

* I can not figure out what I wanna cook for dinner tonight.

* Couger Town and Modern Family came on TV last night. I really like both of those shows, hopefully they will stick around.

* Dexter just started up again. Thats another good series that comes on but you gotta have Showtime. Califronication too, thats a good one. But, definetly not for the kids. It can be really graphic.

* I am saddened by the recent tsunami, those people don't have a chance to get inland. Was there even a warning?

Tuesday, September 29, 2009

* I'm ready for Friday to get here.
* The Cowboys WON!! WOOHOO!!
* I really, really, really need a vacation.
* My back hurts from mowing yesterday.
* I gotta weed eat today. I don't even know how to start a weedeater. Guess I will figure it out??

Cowboy Casserole Recipe

I usually make a huge pan so someone may want to cut this recipe in half. Everyone wants to eat it when I cook it so I always make a big batch.

You will need:
* Family Size hambuger meat (like 3 lbs or more)
* Velveeta cheese (because it's ALOT better than shredded in the casserole.)
* one large onion
* two can of Golden Mushroom Soup ( Campbell is the only one I know that makes this, It must be Golden Mushroom, I have never made it with regular Mushroom Soup)
* Two cans of Tomatoe Soup (any brand)
* Speghetti noodles (Honestly I guess at this because you dont want your casserole to have too many noodles. I would say I usually use 1 and a 1/2 packages of noodles. ( I cook what I think I'm going to need and add them to the casserole till I think I have enough and my puppies get to enjoy if there is any extra noodles.)

1. Cook meat
2. Saute onion with butter
3. Cook noodles
4. Cut up Velveeta into chunks (Put as much cheese in this as you want. I usually use half a block, but we are major cheese eaters.)
5. Get a large bowl and pour cooked meat, Velveeta, Sauteed Onion, Golden Mushroom Soup, Tomato Soup, and noodles all into one bowl and stir.
6. I use salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, chili powder and a little cayan to season the casserole.
7. Pour ingredients into a glass casserole dish and set in the oven on 350 for about 30-45 minutes and you are ready to eat.
* This is a really simple recipe just cook everything and throw it into a bowl and mix and heat. It's fairly cheap to make and serves a bunch of people. If anyone cooks this let me know how it works out for you.

I'm goin to meet Peter at the perk...

* It's people posting video's like this that gets me excited.
* My sister mowed half my yard yesterday, she said she was bored and I didn't argue. I gotta finish it tonight but it wont take too terribly long.
* I wouldn't call myself an avid college football fan but I went to a party Saturday night and the Tech game was on. That was painful to watch.
* COWBOYS tonight!!
* I met a man from France there. He was pretty interesting.
* It was a beautiful weekend.
* I got me some Rockie snake proof boots. A little pricey but when you are in the middle of no where and step on a rattlesnake. I'll shovel out $120 to make sure I'm not taking a joy flight to the nearest ER.
* I still want to buy me a new camera. I need a nice, but affordable one. If I had my choice I would get a Rebel, but I think I could settle for a cheaper one for now. Any suggestions??

Thursday, September 24, 2009

* I haven't blogged in a month. I'm not really sure why, I guess I just wasn't in the mood.
* Kanye West is a douche bag.
* I'm making cowboy casserole tonight for dinner, it's so dang good.
* I am get to go to a karaoke party this weekend. I'm not really sure how I feel about it but hey at least it gets us out of the house.
* I am SO ready for deer season to start. It's a nice mini vaca.
* I am dreading winter. I am not a fan of cold weather*
* I was super pumped that Jordan Lloyd won Big Brother 11. She seems like a deserving person.
* I watched Cougar Town last night I really really liked it. I want to watch Modern Family too. It's still on my DVR.
* Of course I have started watching Survivor. I cannot stand the oilfield owner. He is super creepy!!!
Gotta get back to work
peace!

FRIDAY !!

* We need to clean our shop out this weekend.

* One of my friends from high school tried to commit suicide over the weekend. That has to be a horrible feeling. I sent him an email asking if he was ok and never got a reply, but he sent me a random forwarded email. That struck me as odd. :
* I enjoyed the rain this morning.

* I'm so glad it's Friday, but I know Monday will be here soon enough.

* I know I always talk about wanting to get to the weekend, but I really do enjoy what I do and the people I work with.

* I am very lucky to have family and friends as good to me as mine are.

* Last night I cooked one of those dinners that I was hoping I would have left overs, verdict: no left overs. Everyone mawed down on the good stuff.

* I got to babysit my nephew yesterday - well not really babysit, he can pretty much do everything he wants by himself. It was more like supervising.

* We watched I Love You Man. Now that is a funny movie.
* We watched 5 minutes of the Octo mom show and I was ready to slap the Octo mom. Her 2 year old called her a bitch repeatedly. Ridiculous.

Beer By The Pool

Happy Thirsty Thursday

NObama

* If I had the extra money I would pay someone to take care of my yard. I think that is a well worth it luxury. That being said I have to mow tonight. UGH...

* I think my future sister in law might be pregnant. If that is the case, I'm really excited, it's another child I can spoil and send home.

* We pretty much told the mother in law last night kids were not a possibility until we have all the toys we want and don't wanna play anymore. Which will probably never happen :-)
* I'm eating gumbo for lunch, I cant wait.

* I started drinking Metamucil in the morning to clean my body out. One of my best friends uses it on a daily basis. It wasn't really bad. I got the orange flavor and it just tasted like watered down orange juice.

* I am a HUGE fan of the Big Brother show. Well, Jeff got the Coude'Tat and I'm almost sure he is gonna use it Thursday night on the Live show. I can't imagine what the hell is going to happen, but it will for sure be good live tv. I hope him or Jordan win the HOH this week.

* We have been watching Dating in the Dark. Damn, that is a good show. Guessing whether the girl/guy is gonna come out on the patio to meet the other after seeing what the other looks like is a little intense.

* Another show I think is really going to be good is There Goes The Neighborhood. Simple concept. A block of neighbors encased in a concrete wall competing for $250,000.00. If your family wins king of the neighborhood for the week, you have to nominate two other family's for eviction. Bottom line: It gets ugly. I will be surprised if these people live within 100 miles of each other after this show is over. And if you are the family that ultimately wins the 250 G's, better make it 500 miles. I caught the last 30 minutes of it last Sunday and I am for sure setting my DVR for this Sunday.

Friday Frenzy

* The story of the woman that killed her kids and her nieces last week is horrifying. Tragic nonetheless, but to find out that she was drunk and high, that family has got to be in shock. That probably, unfortunately, happens WAY more than anyways knows. I know a few people who have put their kids in danger after they have been drinking without a question. Their families would not have had a clue if something happen. Everyone has skeletons in their closet. All victims will be forced to live out a very public and hurtful litigation trial, I'm sure.
* I have said it before, I'm saying it again, I need a vacation.
* I want to go camping, I love to camp, but it's been so freaking hot.
* We need to mow again. But we have lucked out, it's been a while since we have had to mow.
* I'm looking forward to seeing some good friends from the deer lease tomorrow. They are always a good time, never a dull moment.
* Gearing up for hunting season is a bit of a beating. It's all worth it in the end though.
* I'm bound and determined to shoot my first deer this year.
* I'm so glad it's Friday but I know this weekend is gonna fly by.
* OH MAN . . . on Big Brother last night Chima got the HOH . . . UGH!!! That woman. . . .she needs to go. But I'm so glad Jeff got the Coude'Ta. Him and Jordan are gonna be safe for at least another week. Ronnie the bubble wand lover is outty.

Monday, August 3, 2009

* I need a vaca, and I mean BAD.
* Maybe I am to head strong or stubborn but I hate it when people don't understand my point of view.
* I'm ready to get the hell out of Wise County.
* Karma is a bitch and I hope it smacks someone in the f'ing face.
* Thats all I have to say, lets hope this weeks flies by and gets better, cause today has already been a muther f'er.

Red balls, not blue balls

That would not be a pleasant wake up call.

Friday, July 24, 2009

Paris Hilton did some naughty things in Denton last night.
