* So I just started parralegal school. I figured since I never successfully completed college and I have been in the legal profession for 11 years, I need to do something. It's only an 8 week program, the boss man paid for it, and although it's not law school, I will at least be able to legally title myself as a paralgel.* I'm hoping the first week is the hardest because I have not been that stressed out in a long time. It's ALOT of reading, which I have absolutly no problem with. There is 2 graded quizzes each week. They are 20 questions, 30 minutes timed. Any amount over deduct point for your grade. Quizzes make up 60% of your grade, and so on and so on. My problem?? The book is sporatic (is that a word?) It's chopped up, I can't follow it. It is not written in terms people use to learn new terms! URGGGHHH!!!!!!!!! So frustrating. I have managed to make an 80 on both quizzez last week .
* On to other things before I work myself up into a tizzy again.
* I am beginning to think Charlie Sheen is off the drugs and that is his normal self off the drugs. I think it's sad but as I have always said, everybody loves to see a good train wreck.
* The tsubnami in Japan is the most heart breaking/facinating/raw video I think I have ever seen. It's almost too much to wrap your head around.
* I have been to the new Brookshires and I have to say I LOVE IT!! They are a little more expensive, but to have a variety of things, in my opinion, it is totally worth it. The produce section looked like a picture out of a magazine. I was impressed. It's so nice to be able to cook different things because you have a grocery store that sales a variety of food.
* The husband bought some tuna steaks from Brookshires, seasoned them with garlic, lemon pepper, and regular pepper, crizzled them with olive oil and baked at 350 for 20 minutes. It was SO good!
* Trying to get the internet hooked up at my house is SO stressful. I'm so frustrated with Century Link I thought about cancelling my home phone and everything. Unfortunetly they are the only house phone provider out my way. WTH????? Can you say monopoly? So frustrating!!
* We are leaving in June to go to Mexico and all I can think about now is a tsnami. I guess I would be dying happy.
* I am not at all worried about the violance in Mexico (knock on wood). We have decide dwe have been enough that we can pass up the gift shops for everyone suveniers and be comepletely guilt free about it. So, we go from airport to hotel and hotel to airport. Thats it. There is no need to go anywhere else.
* If we were to die I would hope they would save it for the ride to the airport when we go back home so we can at least enjoy the week. J/k!!
* My sister bought a $200 cow hide for their living room and her new german sheppard chewed a hole in it this morning. She hasn't had it a week. I had my concerens...
I gotta get back to work.
Happy Birthday Grant, we love you and miss you !!
