Murphy WHY?????

So Murphy's check up didn't go so good yesterday. As you can see, below. His metal plate is broke. How does this happen? Aren't those metal plates? He doesn't run, I won't let him play for fear he will mess it up some more. I just don't understand... The bone calis it starting to grow over the plate so I am hoping we won't have to do anything further. He still only uses it occasionally. I have to take him back in another month. Geesh...

Edit: I don't know why but I can't get the Xray pic to blow up... trust me it's bee-roke.

That is a hard headed deer - arrow right through his head

* Oh how I wish Tuesday was always a 1/2 way mark, oh well. I'm just lucky I have a job.

* I have been having bizarre dreams that are so real I wake myself up jerking around. I have laways had bizarre dreams but not enough physically move around in my sleep.

* The precipitation in coming down pretty quick like outside.

* I played Super Mario Brothers on the Wii at my sister yesterday. Holy smokes! I want to go and buy a Wii now so I can keep playing. It brought me back at least 15 years ago. I thought I would just buy it for the Playstation but you can't get Mario Playstation games. What a downer...

* It has been almost 3 years since we built our home and I have never cleaned the carpets other than vaccuming. Is that bad? I think next week I'm gonna take off and do a bunch of spring cleaning, including cleaning the carpets.

* Murphy goes back to the doctor tomorrow. Wish us luck. A month ago the doctor said his leg wasn't healing as well as expected. I figured by now there is no going back whatever the outcome. All I know is I did the best I could keeping him in the house and in his cage at night. I'm gonna keep my fingers crossed.

Sadie says "How you doin'?"

* Driving in the ice Chrsitmas Eve was in a word STRESSFUL. We left North Richland Hills at 4:00 and didn't make it home till 6:30. 287 was horrible. We saw truck go out of control hit the median and land on the opposite side of 287 facing oncoming traffic. Thank God nobody hit them, they had kids in the back seat.
* We had three foot snow drifts in our backyard Christmas Eve.
* I broke down and got my husband a SkyCaddy for Christmas and I even surprised him, which never happens.
* My husband grandfather died which means a trip to New Orleans for a funeral is in our future.
* I'm glad the year is getting over with.
* It hasn't been the worse year but I'm ready for a recharge.
* I'm about to start a workout couch to 5k in three months. wish. me. luck.
* I am the worst about wanting to get into shape and actually getting my lazy butt off the couch and doing it.
* I always feel 100% better after working out knowing I did it.
* I will have to keep you updated on that.

Funny . . .

Tear Jerker Poem from my email

The embers glowed softly, and in their dim light, I gazed round the room and I cherished the sight. My wife was asleep, her head on my chest, My daughter beside me, angelic in rest. Outside the snow fell, a blanket of white, Transforming the yard to a winter delight.
The sparkling lights in the tree I believe, Completed the magic that was Christmas Eve. My eyelids were heavy, my breathing was deep, Secure and surrounded by love I would sleep. In perfect contentment, or so it would seem, So I slumbered, perhaps I started to dream.
The sound wasn't loud, and it wasn't too near, But I opened my eyes when it tickled my ear.. Perhaps just a cough, I didn't quite know, Then the sure sound of footsteps outside in the snow. My soul gave a tremble, I struggled to hear, And I crept to the door just to see who was near.

Standing out in the cold and the dark of the night, A lone figure stood, his face weary and tight. A soldier, I puzzled, some twenty years old, Perhaps a Marine, huddled here in the cold. Alone in the dark, he looked up and smiled, Standing watch over me, and my wife and my child.
"What are you doing?" I asked without fear, "Come in this moment, it's freezing out here! Put down your pack, brush the snow from your sleeve, You should be at home on a cold Christmas Eve!" For barely a moment I saw his eyes shift, Away from the cold and the snow blown in drifts..

To the window that danced with a warm fire's light Then he sighed and he said "Its really all right, I'm out here by choice. I'm here every night." "It's my duty to stand at the front of the line, That separates you from the darkest of times.
No one had to ask or beg or implore me, I'm proud to stand here like my fathers before me. My Gramps died at ' Pearl on a day in December," Then he sighed, "That's a Christmas 'Gram always remembers." My dad stood his watch in the jungles of ' Nam ', And now it is my turn and so, here I am.
I've not seen my own son in more than a while, But my wife sends me pictures, he's sure got her smile. Then he bent and he carefully pulled from his bag, The red, white, and blue... an American flag. I can live through the cold and the being alone, Away from my family, my house and my home.
I can stand at my post through the rain and the sleet, I can sleep in a foxhole with little to eat. I can carry the weight of killing another, Or lay down my life with my sister and brother.. Who stand at the front against any and all, To ensure for all time that this flag will not fall.."
" So go back inside," he said, "harbor no fright, Your family is waiting and I'll be all right." "But isn't there something I can do, at the least, "Give you money," I asked, "or prepare you a feast? It seems all too little for all that you've done, For being away from your wife and your son."
Then his eye welled a tear that held no regret, "Just tell us you love us, and never forget. To fight for our rights back at home while we're gone, To stand your own watch, no matter how long. For when we come home, either standing or dead, To know you remember we fought and we bled. Is payment enough, and with that we will trust, That we mattered to you as you mattered to us."

I love Chris Farley

Ready for the weekend

My washing machine took a dump and it was only three years old. I ordered me another one and I'm suppose to pick it up today. That is one of those emergency money things you wish you had money in savings to pay for.

I have four more things of salsa left to can. I'm ready to be done with canning. It's not hard once you get the hang of it, it's just a pain getting everything ready for it.

The dead deer in the yard has disappeared, I am guessing the dogs drug it somewhere else. Good for me cause I didn't want to haul it off.

We have recieved a ton of Christmas cards this year.

Shambo got the boot last night on Survivor. She lasted way longer than I thought she would.

I don't have alot today.

Merry Christmas !!

I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas! Thank you Jesus, Thank you Lord!

Thirsty Thursday

One of my favorite shows is Dexter, a series on Showtime. The Season Finale aired Sunday and I watched it last night. I can't believe they killed of Rita!! I am very upset. I think that is a sign of a really good series when you are so consumed with the characters it emotionally distresses you when someone dies.

I have been watching Nip/Tuck this season. . . WOW. That show is crazy good. I don't think it will be on next year, that's ashame.

Survivor Finale is this weekend. I hope Russell wins but he's been cocky the whole game, so it's bound to come and bite him in the butt.

Two more weeks and Murphy gets the boot back outside.

I came home yesterday and found another dead deer head and carcus in our yard. That is the 3rd deer the dogs have drug up this season.

I'm am doing all of my Christmas shopping this weekend. I am such a procrastinator.

We have been canning homeade BBQ sauce and Salsa for Christmas baskets this year. It is SO good.

I'm really getting sick of hearing about Tiger Woods.

I really wanna go somewhere tropical this year.

I ate a piece of Turkey and cheese for lunch with mustard.

The music at the courthouse in Decatur is a wee-bit loud. Do they do that ever year?

Nothing like being in a courtroom while the sound of lovely Christmas music plays in the background. At least you have something to look forward to when you walk back to your car.

Oh by the way . . .

I forgot to mention we killed a bobcat at the deer lease over Thanksgiving.

Some people . . .

BOOB - A- LICIOUS. . .

* Thanksgiving at the deer lease was wonderful. We always eat so much when we go there.

* I have to attend a funeral Friday for one of my neighbors. He was a good man. There will never be another Bud Tanner.

* The Tiger Woods cheating scandal cracks me up. People are all over the radio saying he was a role model, he has ruined his career, ect . . . Who cares people !!! Just because he is a celebrity just goes to show you how far we put people like him on a pedestal. It's ridiculous to me, and if everyone would take a step back from the situation you would realized it's NOBODY'S business where he putts his ball, except for him and his family. He has to live with that.

* On the other hand it makes me want to smack men or women for doing something so irresponsible and embarrassing to their families. Eventually, celebrity or not, you WILL get caught.

* I have said it before, but I am really not a big fan of cold weather. Me no likey.

* Murphy has a doctor's appointment today. We are past the 1/2 way point. Hopefully his leg is healing nicely.

* I'm trying to figure Christmas gifts in my head and it's not working. I always have brain block when it comes to getting gifts for others.

* My nephews 5th birthday party is this weekend. I can't believe he will be 5!

* That makes me feel old.

Happy Thanksgiving

* I think I am about to delete my myspace account. It's just not fun anymore and I hardly ever long into it.

* I cannot freaking believe it is Thanksgiving time.

* I love buying gifts for people, but I cannot stand trying to figure out what people want.

* My hubby bought me a new gun. 22-250 decked out with Nikon scope. It's sweet!!

* I need to take ear plugs to the deer lease for when I shoot it. My ears are flipping sensitive.

* I have to make 3 cheese cakes tonight... 3!!!!!

* I also have a bunch of laundry to do and stuff to get ready for the weekend.

* I'm out, I'll try and post tomorrow but I have been really busy with work so I don't know.

By the way, Murphy looks pretty comfy huh? He comes to work with me now that he can't be on his leg for 4 more weeks.

After Murphy's Surgery

* See those two loose pieces? The doctor is hoping they will grow back to the bone in 6 weeks. If not, they may have to amputate his leg. But, I have to think positive, do what the doctor tells me to do and go from there. It is what it is.
* For the most part Murphy has been good about staying off of it.
* I have had a problem with him not wanting to use the bathroom outside or he cant figure it out how to. He peed on himself last night after I tried to get him to pee up to 8 times that day and about 5 minutes before he decided to go.
* It is very frustrating for me, I'm sure it's really frustrating for him.
* Oh and his csat can't get wet so I have been trying to keep a baggie over it when I take him out. Now I'm afraid he is going to pee on his cast in his cage so I wrapped it before I left for work.
* I don't have kids and now I know why. Murphy barks when I leave his sight. I'm sure kids are 110% worse to take care of. But at least eventually they can communicate with you besides barking and wagging a tail.
* I gotta go, alot of work to do.

This is an amazing story ...

"The monkey had ripped off her entire upper jaw, had ripped off her nose, which as hanging by a thread. We found extensive dirt, chimp fur, and chimp teeth implanted in her bone." - EMS First Responder on the scene.

If you do not watch The Oprah Winfrey show you should at least youtube this story. Her face looks pretty bad but this woman's spirit is AMAZING. After I watched Oprah on my DVR last night I was almost in tears. This woman is so brave and positive. It's just a horrible tradgedy and she i making the best of it.

Murphy Saga Continues . . .

That is Murphy's leg ...
So I get off at three on Friday afternoon and decided to walk a mile or so with my mom and neighbor. Murphy and Sadie followed us down the road. The neighbor dog went up to Murphy and with no warning attacked him. She shook him back and forth and then threw him in the air. I thought when he hit the ground he was going to be dead because I figured his neck was broke. He amazingly got up and hauled ass. I saw the whole thing happen. He was running but only on three legs. His back leg was twisted in the opposite direction and dangeling down. It was gross. I scooped him up, he was yelping, I was 1/2 a mile from home and all I could do was walk really quick. Anyways, we got him to the vet by 4:30 and he spent the night Friday night. I got to bring him home Saturday and Sunday and I had to return him for surgery this morning. Pins and plates in his legs. The doctor seemed to think he cold fix him. Please say a prayer for me. I am blessed to have neighbors like I do, they offered to pay for everything and even went with me to see the vet Saturday morning.

FRIDAY!!!!!

* One of your peeps at the office brought this in a couple weeks ago. This feeder is between the Jack/Wise County line.
* I made my Pepaw a cheese cake last night. He fell in his cellar Wednesday night and hurt his arm really bad. No broken bones, just missing flesh. I figured the cheesecake would make him feel a little better.
* I also gave a pair of steel toe boots to a man that really needs them.
* I talked my mom into bringing me chinese food for lunch. YUMMY!!
* I started working out again. I am so proud of myself after I'm done. It's just getting motivated to get off my ass that's the hard part. I have a really good support system now so I feel confident, at least today.
* I spoke to the hubby this morning, he doesn't care about anything but deer, hogs, BEER and big horns, he is in deer lease mode.
* Is Bowie trade days this weekend?? I haven't been in years but it looks like it is gonna be a nice weekend and it sounds like alot of fun.

Wednesday, November 4, 2009

1/2 way to Friday !!

* This week has been unusually busy.
* I'm so glad the Cowboys won. I hope we can keep it going.
* I really am getting sick of people talking about Michael Jackson. I never was a huge Michael Jackson fan and I understood all the hype when he died, but GEEZ people!! Get over it. I think if they handed that new movie out for free, I'd never watch it. It doesn't peak my interests at all.
* I am still debating an iPhone I just don't want to pay the extra service charge that goes with it ever month. It's ridiculous.
* I want to see the Hangover and My Sisters Keeper. Two opposite movies, but both look really good.
* Murphy has still been really good about staying home but when I left this morning he wasn't on the back porch. I'm sure he is safe but I almost turned around to search for him. If I did that every time I would go crazy.
* This weekend is opening day of deer season!! I think its gonna be a good year.
* I'm not ready for winter. In fact I would rather pass it all together and go from fall to spring.
* I broke a 100,000 miles on my car this week. I drive a 10 year old car because I don't have a car payment and it gets excellent gas mileage. We have a brand new truck at home we drive on the weekends and when we go out of town. Some people thinks that's crazy, but the way I look at it we are saving on gas and keeping the wear and tear and mileage down on our nice truck.
* I try to blog everyday if I have time, but sometimes I just don't know what the hell to say.
* We cooked a brisket this weekend. Hubby made his own rub and then put it on the smoker about 5:00 Friday afternoon. I took it off at 1:00 a.m. and then cooked it in the oven on low till about 5:00 Saturday afternoon. It was SO good. Fell apart while we were slicing it.
* The story of the three girls that ran their jeep in a lake and drowned. Something sounds strange about that story. The police say no alcohol was involved and there was no evidence the girls tried to escape. It just sounds bizarre that all three died from drowning and none of them struggled to get out??
* The guy with all the dead bodies stacked up in his house. GEESH!!!! I told you there are Crazy ass people out there. It really makes you wander about everyone. Everyone has skeletons in the closet, but not literally!!!
* I'm done for now, I gotta get some work done.

Down hill from here...

* I would shit myself if my husband did the above to me! But it is funny!

* OK, I made pork chops last night and put turkey gravy on them. It was SO good!

* I went to Walmart today. I really dislike Walmart but I didn't have a choice. I had to go. I got me some really cute Ugg boots though and some major stuff to touch up my Halloween costume.

* I ate Taco Bell with one of my sisters today. It was ok, I guess.

* I love the new Kelly Clarkson song Already Gone. It's a really pretty ballad.

* I need to go and buy dog food. I forgot to add it to my list before I went to wally world.

* My prayers are with the family from Forestburg. Such a tragic accident.

* I try and pray every single night before I go to sleep, but sometimes I dose off into sleep on the night prayer. I think Jesus understands.

* We need to buy a new lawn mower. We used my neighbors all year and it's time to quit borrowing and buy one of our own. I just don't want to spend the money!

* I'm getting really pumped for deer season this year!

* I still need to buy me a new camera.

I have GREAT NEWS!!

* I can't believe it myself, but I got Murphy back last Friday!! I was SO excited. Someone had picked him up and saw the flyers I had made. I cannot tell you how happy I was. He is like a child to us. I'm very grateful the lady that had him took very good care of him and called us.

* I am making my costume out of colored duct tape this year, wish me luck. It should be interesting.

* I dont ever think you are too old to dress up. Halloween is one of my favorite times of the year. You can be whoever you want to be.

* I think I'm gonna make grilled porch chops for dinner tonight.

I am really bummed out...

I'm so bummed. We lost our first born over the weekend. I have called the shelter, I have been door to door, and I don't know what else to do. It's devastating. We don't have children, we have dogs. We had Murphy for seven years. I hope he is alive and we get him back soon, but it don't look promising. He went missing during the day and nobody knows what happen to him. He just disappeared. We can't find even a sign that he may have been hit by a car or attacked. My last resort is to post an add in the paper under lost dogs. Any other suggestions, please let me know.

I keep telling myself someone has him and he is ok, but people can be crazy and cruel. All I can think is everything happens for a reason.

:(

Ready to rock and roll...

* OK, it is bad enough that the kid puked on national tv. But you have to watch the Dads face when his son vomits. He looks like he was about to lose it himself. SO FUNNY! This story is golden in so many ways. It just keeps getting better and better. Thanks BG for the link.

Thirsty Thursday

* I have been trying to find a really unique Halloween costume. No luck. Why can't I find one that I like?? I go through this every year.

* I really wanna pimp the party out this year so I'm trying to think of some cheap ways to do that.

* It was SO cold in the office this morning. I got my freeze on.

* My first born almost got hit this morning. I think he is getting Alzheimer's.

* I cannot believe Christmas is around the corner. I love buying gifts for people, but I hate trying to figure out what to buy them.

* No plans this weekend which is cool, because after this weekend we have plans almost every weekend till after New Years.

* Any suggestions for a homemade Halloween costume. I came up with a white shirt painted P and a black eye (black eyed P) and I got the "your a dumb ass look" from everyone. hmm... I thought it was a cute idea.

Tuesday, October 13, 2009

* I watched the DJ AM Gone Too Far Series last night on MTV. I had mixed feelings about it, but for the most part it was very, very sad. Just to know that he was trying to make a difference and save other people while struggling to fight his own demons was a little tuff to watch, but for the most part I'm glad MTV is airing the series and hopefully it helps addicts get the help they need.

* I have a twitter account, but rarely use it.

* I have two nephews birthdays coming up - 1 will be 5 the other will be 2, both boys. Any birthday gift suggestions for a two and five year old?

* 12 funny roller coaster pictures.

SPOOKY !!!!!!

* Ok, so I get a call from someone last night saying that the "planets are all aligned tonight, get your broom sweep from north to south and it will stand up straight by itself." My first thought was - "lay off the crack pipe". But, I tried it anyways... and it WORKED!!!!!!!! Craziest ass thing I have seen in a long time. Even after the storms last night it was still standing this morning. I didn't touch it cause I wanted to see how long it would stay up by itself. You could actually feel the gravity pull when you let it go. Try it and see if it still works. Here is the picture to prove it.

* I'm glad it is Friday, but I really don't have any major plans this weekend.

* I think I want a new set of golf clubs for Christmas. I never thought I would enjoy golf, but in the past year in a half I have really been into it. It's something fun to do with my other half.

* I hope everyone has a great weekend!

JON VS. NANCY GRACE ROUND 2 !!

Oh SNAP !! This is good shit.

* Jon Gosselin is a TOOL and Nancy Grace just owned the shit out of him.
* I am not looking forward to the rain the next couple of days.
* My new Rocky boots work really good in rattlesnake land but getting them broke in is a bitch. I should have listened and wore them around the house for the week before we went out there.
* I saw at least 70 deer Friday night when we got to the lease. It was like the movies. Never seen anything like that before in my life.
* I'm hoping that means a good year for us.
* It rained almost all night Saturday so getting shit together Sunday morning was a bit of a bitch, but we managed.
* The hunt is on for a Halloween costume.
* I cant wait till the Hangover comes out on DVD.
* Not got much today. Maybe after while.

Thursday, October 1, 2009

Thirsty Thursday ! !

* Actual picture of the two folks christening the new cowboys stadium this week. I feel a little disgusted that they used the bathroom floor to huh, make history, but in a way I give them props for getting it on in such a public place and letting people video it just say " Hey I have done it at the new cowboys stadium." Video and more picures here...

* It was SO humid this morning.
*I bought me a new pair of binoculars. Nikon for $89.99 Cabelas.

* I can not figure out what I wanna cook for dinner tonight.

* Couger Town and Modern Family came on TV last night. I really like both of those shows, hopefully they will stick around.

* Dexter just started up again. Thats another good series that comes on but you gotta have Showtime. Califronication too, thats a good one. But, definetly not for the kids. It can be really graphic.

* I am saddened by the recent tsunami, those people don't have a chance to get inland. Was there even a warning?

Tuesday, September 29, 2009

* I'm ready for Friday to get here.
* The Cowboys WON!! WOOHOO!!
* I really, really, really need a vacation.
* My back hurts from mowing yesterday.
* I gotta weed eat today. I don't even know how to start a weedeater. Guess I will figure it out??

Cowboy Casserole Recipe

I usually make a huge pan so someone may want to cut this recipe in half. Everyone wants to eat it when I cook it so I always make a big batch.

You will need:
* Family Size hambuger meat (like 3 lbs or more)
* Velveeta cheese (because it's ALOT better than shredded in the casserole.)
* one large onion
* two can of Golden Mushroom Soup ( Campbell is the only one I know that makes this, It must be Golden Mushroom, I have never made it with regular Mushroom Soup)
* Two cans of Tomatoe Soup (any brand)
* Speghetti noodles (Honestly I guess at this because you dont want your casserole to have too many noodles. I would say I usually use 1 and a 1/2 packages of noodles. ( I cook what I think I'm going to need and add them to the casserole till I think I have enough and my puppies get to enjoy if there is any extra noodles.)

1. Cook meat
2. Saute onion with butter
3. Cook noodles
4. Cut up Velveeta into chunks (Put as much cheese in this as you want. I usually use half a block, but we are major cheese eaters.)
5. Get a large bowl and pour cooked meat, Velveeta, Sauteed Onion, Golden Mushroom Soup, Tomato Soup, and noodles all into one bowl and stir.
6. I use salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, chili powder and a little cayan to season the casserole.
7. Pour ingredients into a glass casserole dish and set in the oven on 350 for about 30-45 minutes and you are ready to eat.
* This is a really simple recipe just cook everything and throw it into a bowl and mix and heat. It's fairly cheap to make and serves a bunch of people. If anyone cooks this let me know how it works out for you.

I'm goin to meet Peter at the perk...

* It's people posting video's like this that gets me excited.
* My sister mowed half my yard yesterday, she said she was bored and I didn't argue. I gotta finish it tonight but it wont take too terribly long.
* I wouldn't call myself an avid college football fan but I went to a party Saturday night and the Tech game was on. That was painful to watch.
* COWBOYS tonight!!
* I met a man from France there. He was pretty interesting.
* It was a beautiful weekend.
* I got me some Rockie snake proof boots. A little pricey but when you are in the middle of no where and step on a rattlesnake. I'll shovel out $120 to make sure I'm not taking a joy flight to the nearest ER.
* I still want to buy me a new camera. I need a nice, but affordable one. If I had my choice I would get a Rebel, but I think I could settle for a cheaper one for now. Any suggestions??

Thursday, September 24, 2009

* I haven't blogged in a month. I'm not really sure why, I guess I just wasn't in the mood.
* Kanye West is a douche bag.
* I'm making cowboy casserole tonight for dinner, it's so dang good.
* I am get to go to a karaoke party this weekend. I'm not really sure how I feel about it but hey at least it gets us out of the house.
* I am SO ready for deer season to start. It's a nice mini vaca.
* I am dreading winter. I am not a fan of cold weather*
* I was super pumped that Jordan Lloyd won Big Brother 11. She seems like a deserving person.
* I watched Cougar Town last night I really really liked it. I want to watch Modern Family too. It's still on my DVR.
* Of course I have started watching Survivor. I cannot stand the oilfield owner. He is super creepy!!!
Gotta get back to work
peace!

FRIDAY !!

* We need to clean our shop out this weekend.

* One of my friends from high school tried to commit suicide over the weekend. That has to be a horrible feeling. I sent him an email asking if he was ok and never got a reply, but he sent me a random forwarded email. That struck me as odd. :
* I enjoyed the rain this morning.

* I'm so glad it's Friday, but I know Monday will be here soon enough.

* I know I always talk about wanting to get to the weekend, but I really do enjoy what I do and the people I work with.

* I am very lucky to have family and friends as good to me as mine are.

* Last night I cooked one of those dinners that I was hoping I would have left overs, verdict: no left overs. Everyone mawed down on the good stuff.

* I got to babysit my nephew yesterday - well not really babysit, he can pretty much do everything he wants by himself. It was more like supervising.

* We watched I Love You Man. Now that is a funny movie.
* We watched 5 minutes of the Octo mom show and I was ready to slap the Octo mom. Her 2 year old called her a bitch repeatedly. Ridiculous.

Happy Thirsty Thursday

NObama

* If I had the extra money I would pay someone to take care of my yard. I think that is a well worth it luxury. That being said I have to mow tonight. UGH...

* I think my future sister in law might be pregnant. If that is the case, I'm really excited, it's another child I can spoil and send home.

* We pretty much told the mother in law last night kids were not a possibility until we have all the toys we want and don't wanna play anymore. Which will probably never happen :-)
* I'm eating gumbo for lunch, I cant wait.

* I started drinking Metamucil in the morning to clean my body out. One of my best friends uses it on a daily basis. It wasn't really bad. I got the orange flavor and it just tasted like watered down orange juice.

* I am a HUGE fan of the Big Brother show. Well, Jeff got the Coude'Tat and I'm almost sure he is gonna use it Thursday night on the Live show. I can't imagine what the hell is going to happen, but it will for sure be good live tv. I hope him or Jordan win the HOH this week.

* We have been watching Dating in the Dark. Damn, that is a good show. Guessing whether the girl/guy is gonna come out on the patio to meet the other after seeing what the other looks like is a little intense.

* Another show I think is really going to be good is There Goes The Neighborhood. Simple concept. A block of neighbors encased in a concrete wall competing for $250,000.00. If your family wins king of the neighborhood for the week, you have to nominate two other family's for eviction. Bottom line: It gets ugly. I will be surprised if these people live within 100 miles of each other after this show is over. And if you are the family that ultimately wins the 250 G's, better make it 500 miles. I caught the last 30 minutes of it last Sunday and I am for sure setting my DVR for this Sunday.

Friday Frenzy

* The story of the woman that killed her kids and her nieces last week is horrifying. Tragic nonetheless, but to find out that she was drunk and high, that family has got to be in shock. That probably, unfortunately, happens WAY more than anyways knows. I know a few people who have put their kids in danger after they have been drinking without a question. Their families would not have had a clue if something happen. Everyone has skeletons in their closet. All victims will be forced to live out a very public and hurtful litigation trial, I'm sure.
* I have said it before, I'm saying it again, I need a vacation.
* I want to go camping, I love to camp, but it's been so freaking hot.
* We need to mow again. But we have lucked out, it's been a while since we have had to mow.
* I'm looking forward to seeing some good friends from the deer lease tomorrow. They are always a good time, never a dull moment.
* Gearing up for hunting season is a bit of a beating. It's all worth it in the end though.
* I'm bound and determined to shoot my first deer this year.
* I'm so glad it's Friday but I know this weekend is gonna fly by.
* OH MAN . . . on Big Brother last night Chima got the HOH . . . UGH!!! That woman. . . .she needs to go. But I'm so glad Jeff got the Coude'Ta. Him and Jordan are gonna be safe for at least another week. Ronnie the bubble wand lover is outty.

Monday, August 3, 2009

* I need a vaca, and I mean BAD.
* Maybe I am to head strong or stubborn but I hate it when people don't understand my point of view.
* I'm ready to get the hell out of Wise County.
* Karma is a bitch and I hope it smacks someone in the f'ing face.
* Thats all I have to say, lets hope this weeks flies by and gets better, cause today has already been a muther f'er.

That would not be a pleasant wake up call.

Thirsty Thursday

* I think the State of Texas should implement a law that stated if you get married you have to pay a minimum of $2,500.00 to marry. For each child you pop out you should have to pay $5,000.00. This money should then go into some sort of accruing interest savings bond so that neither party can touch the money until they have been married for a certain length of time. If they decide to divorce the funds will pay for each one to afford an attorney and the rest should go to the child. It's just a thought but I guarantee we wouldn't have a shit load of people popping babies out right and left and you wouldn't see young people rushing to the alter. You know your serious about marriage when you gotta cough up $2,500.00. You gotta really love someone.
* Big Brother live eviction comes on tonight. I'm still trying to find a clip of Ronnie when he get his bubble wand. It really brings the LOL'S.
* I am into my 4th day of working out. My body was in PAIN the last three days but today I feel pretty good. Just a little sore.
* I'm thinking about buying a bicycle. I have alot of hills around my place and I think it would be a good work out.
* I almost ploud over the wagon guy on 2123 yesterday afternoon. Anybody familiar with the "S Curves" on 2123. Yeh, that's where he was. I know it's technically legal for him to ride but 2123 is very dangerous.
* Me and sister ate at TWO PEPPERS (Dos Chilis) for lunch. It was pretty good.
- that's all i got for now.

Wednesday, July 22, 2009

* A good friend of mine sent that video to me. It's not amazing tornado footage, but it's kind of cool.

* We bought a used deep freeze for $60 yesterday to keep in the shop. The dial for the cool level goes from 1-9. The lady we bought it from said to keep it on 1 or it will build up ice on the walls. I don't know enough about to freezers to know if that is a good thing or not.

* I started working out again . . . UGHH!! I always feel so accomplished when I'm done. It's just getting my self to get up and do it. That is the hard part. I think I will feel SO much better when I start seeing results.

* I DVR'd that In the Dark show where people date in the dark. I will probably watch it tonight. The previews looked good, but who knows.

* OH MY GOODNESS . . . I LOVE watching Big Brother. The live feeds on Showtime at night can be the best footage because it is all live and nothing is censored. The HOH this week is Ronnie and he is a complete idiot. He has got to be the worst player in BB history. He spazzed out when they gave him a bubble wand for crying out loud. I'm posting that later.

* I found out someone I knew was pregnant yesterday that means at least 10 more people I know will be pregnant within the next 2 months. It ALWAYS happens. Everyone seems to get together once a year and decide when would be the best time for everyone to get knocked up. It must be in the water.

* I have had a huge problem with fire ants the past two weeks. They appear on my kitchen counter in the bathrooms, where ever they feel like it for no reason. I don't leave food out. I think they are just hot or something and trying to stay cool.

* The same goes for scorpions. I have killed more the past month than ever before.

* I'll post some stuff later. I got to get some work done.

Tuesday, July 14, 2009

* If that video is real, and I think it might be, that guy is the stupidest person on the planet.

* I saw a sign that said YARD SALE clothes, riding lawn mower, TOYES. It took alot to not pull over with a permanent marker.

* The story about the Florida parent getting murdered sounds a little shady.

* I would shop at Walmart in Springtown, rather than Decatur, if Springtown had a Walmart.

* Arturo Gotti the boxer was strangled to death by his 90 lb wife? Something seems off. Maybe she drugged him first??

* I made the best roast beef poboys last week. They were delicious.

* Did they ever find out what happen between the two brothers murder/suicide? The story kind of disappeared. I didn't even see an Obituaries for the two men.

* I said last time I wanted to see the pictures from the autopsy of Micheal Jackson. I think it's only a matter of time. Someone has pictures and someone will want to cash in.

* Busy . . . Busy . . . . Busy . . . .

Zac Efron's Pool Party

Zac Efron's Pool Party

Tuesday crap

* I would hate to be in Los Angeles today.

* There was a guy on the news last night from the metroplex who had won two of the lottery tickets for the MJ memorial. He stated in his interview he didn't know how he was going to get to Los Angeles for todays event. I'm guessing he didn't have the money for airfare and was begging for a handout from viewers. Dude . . . If you cant even afford a plane ticket to go somewhere why bother putting your name in the bucket?

* The youtube video Barry posted freaks me the hell out. They showed it on Chennel 8 this morning.

* I feel sorry for the kids in the MJ drama. Poor things will never have a normal life.
* I'm currently reading Behind the Lines by Andrew. It is a book of letters from the war as far recent as our current war. I'm almost half way thru the book and most of the letters I have read are from the early 1800-1950's. It is a really good book. Funny moments, gruesome moments and just plain sad moments.

* I only like to read biographies or true stories. I hate romance novels and made up stories, and I have to be extremely interested in something to waste my time sitting and reading it.

* I finally got to watch Taking Chance. It is worth watching the whole thing plus the bonus features on the DVD. Movie Gallary has it. yes, I cried.

* I'm almost sure MJ will make more money dead than alive.

* I went to Graceland when I was a teenager and I have to say, it was very interesting. Imagine how many people would flock to Neverland.

* I am a HUGE Eminem fan and he always made fun of MJ. I heard on TV Eminem and Dr. Dre were one of MJ's favorite musicians. That struck me as odd.

* I am hearing of several people that have gone to the new clothing/accessory shop in Paradise. (In the old Panther Den/daycare on 114) Everyone I have talked too can't quit talking about how awesome it is and how many good deals they got for name brand clothes. I'm gonna check it out this week.

It's my Friday

* That picture makes me laugh.
* We don't have any plans for the 4th yet. I'm sure we will come up with something.
* I need to take the trash to the dump tomorrow. I hope it's open.
* I think I'm going to "deep clean" the house in the morning.
* I had a really weird dream about noticing a hidden wing on my house and when I entered it I found cats, kittens and a yellow duck. There were ants everywhere and I picked up a huge orange and white striped kitten and it starting biting the shit out of me over and over again. . . WEIRD!!
* Have a happy and safe 4th everyone !

Coyote Population
The Alberta Government and the Alberta Forest Service were presenting an alternative to Alberta ranchers for controlling the coyote population. It seems that after years of the ranchers using the tried and true methods of shooting and/or trapping the predators, the tree-huggers had a 'more humane' solution. What they proposed was for the animals to be captured alive, the males would then be castrated and let loose again. Therefore the population would be controlled. This was ACTUALLY proposed to the Alberta Ranching Association and Farming Association by the Alberta Government and the Alberta Forest Service. All of the ranchers thought about this amazing idea for a couple of minutes. Finally, one of the old boys in the back of the conference room stood up, tipped his hat back and said, 'Son, I don't think you understand our problem. Those coyotes ain't fuckin' our sheep - they're eatin' 'em!'

1st of a 4 day work week

* That picture is disturbing.

* The passing of Billy Mays is a surprise. I know how annoying his voice could be but I had started watching Pitchman and I was really getting in to it. The man could hock anything and make it sound good.
* I really need to deep clean my house. It has been a while since I have really gave it a good deep clean.
* I have had the same iron I received at my Senior Project Graduation.
* The only time I use it is to iron my spouses jeans for work. On occasion some shirts.
* I'm about to break down and purchase a Canon Rebel. If you are gonna spend $200 on a decent camera might as well spend an extra $200-$300 on a really nice one.
* Don't you want to see the Autopsy pictures on Michael Jackson? I do in some sick and morbid way. I reports that were coming in about the state of his body are probably not far from the truth.
* I think it's funny how Janet Jackson obviously distanced herself and her career from Michael but she was the one speaking at the BET awards on behalf of the family.
* My Aunt, whom doesn't ever udder a curse word described in detail at a family dinner last Saturday how she gave one of her older clients a full body wax. It was pure gold material.

Shit yeh, almost Friday

* It's hotter than a whore house outside.

* People who leave their children in the car no matter WHAT are freaking idiots and should be fixed.

* Mowing-complete.

* I wanted Torrie to win Celebrity get me outta here, but I will settle for Lou Diamond Phillips.

* Farrah Fawcett died from cancer today. So sad.

* I think if I knew I was going to die I would start a video diary for my family and friends from the moment I learned of my demise until I was unable to continue.
* Is that morbid or just leaving something behind for family and friends to remember me by?
* Since I gave my son the chop job it seems he is 5 years younger. He's SO spunky now. I guess because he feels so free without so much hair.
* I'm am SO sick of the Jon and Kate plus a million babies drama.
* Yes Megan Fox is Hot but other than that whats the big deal?
* I need a sprinkler system.
* I hear we have to register our water wells now. Just another thing they can f' tax us on. So unfair.
* Drinky time in 1.85 hours.
peace

Hump Day

* Nothing like crawfish, garlic, potatoes, sausage and corn on top of newspapers spread out on an old boat. It was the best crawfish I have ever had. My homies have this recipe down to a T.
* We ate out last night. Besides lunch during the week, I cant remember the last time we have eaten out on a week night.
* It was nice to go to dinner, but I still prefer cooking dinner at the house.
* I would like to do a documentary on homeless people. I think most of their stories would be facinating.
* That is sad about Andy Mattison. I didn't know him but from what I heard he was a great stand up man. I often wander why thing like this happen. You never know whats going with your body till it's too late. It kind of makes you think "man, that could have been me or my family" Makes you stop in your tracks.
* I know a lady I have worked around for a few years and she's always reminded me of someone I just couldn't put my finger on it. It dawned on me yesterday while she was chit-chatting with me that she reminds me of one of my best friends that passed away from cancer last year. Amazing. It was right in front of me. It only took her saying something or making a certain face and then it clicked. WOW... I sure miss her.
* It's this time of year that I wished I had a bad ass pool in my backyard waiting on me when I got home.

Monkey Business

* Been a busy week.

* I usually get a bad sunburn once a year.

* I need to go shopping.

* Unless you are a cop or you hunt why do you need to carry a gun on your person? If you are a hunter carrying a gun, you better be on your way to the deer lease. If you are a concealed handgun owner you better be smart about it. People got to know there could be a chance of something happening. Maybe not today or tomorrow but if you get reckless with a gun someday it will come back to bite you. You are big and bad until someone gets killed. What a waste.

* Im done with my rampage.

* It is HOT outside, but I wont bitch too much, I do not like winter time. I would rather it be 100 degrees outside than 20.

* Im going to have to mow this weekend. Our yard looks like a jungle.

* I watched a guy cleaning windows this morning with glass spray. He sprayed the glass, started wiping and then out of no where, he sneezed, wiped his snotty nose on the rag he was wiping the glass down with and you guessed it, continued wiping the glass with his snot feeled rag. EWWW!! I saw it coming.

FRIDAY thoughts ...

- I just saw a truck that read "HAULING UNEDIBLE LARD THIS IS NOT SAFE FOR ANIMALS OR HUMANS TO INGEST" WTF??????
_ I kinf of want an iphone but I'm know I am good with what I have right now.
- I. Am almost always dissapointed when I read the Wise County Messenger and I can't figure out what bugs me about it. It just doesn't seem as interesting anymore, besides you can read it free online.
- I would think a hotel next to a stripper club or a night club would be a cash cow.
- One of the Baldwin brothers got kicked off Im a Celebrity last night. Those two together cracked me up. I actually like Holly Montagm I figured she would be just like her sister but she's not.
- My dogs would rather drink dirty rain water thab clean fresh water. Too me that is crazy.
- if you were offered the chance to do a survivor like show or better yet a show like Big Brother would you do it? I'm not sure if I would but I think if I didn't at least try I would regret it for the rest of my life.
- I wanna go to the beach.

NO Tornado PLEASE ~ ~

I thought a tornado was touching down at my house last night. I was FREAKED out.
My dogs wanted in the house so bad one was literally trying to jump through our back door window.
The wind was shifting and blowing the rain in more than three directions.
Point blank, it was scary.
I am not a fan of storms period.
I woke up at 2 a.m. to another storm.
The pressure in our house was crazy, which is why I think there may have been a tornado near by.
Limbs everywhere in my yard. My poor plants.
I hear Springtown got beat up pretty bad too.
Isn't it late for storms . . . oh wait . . . we are in Texas.
Random Thought that occured to me driving to work: Do people use alarm clocks anymore? Everyone I know uses the alarm clock on their cell phone.
Don't most people plug their cell phone in on their night stand?

DO NOT WATCH THE VIDEO BELOW UNLESS YOU ARE PREPARED TO BE DISTURBED

The above video is a tad disturbing. I don't understand why nobody does anything but stare.

I have been watching I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here. I started watching mainly for the trainwreck effect. I have to say Patti Bloglavich seems like a really sweet woman. I actually think Sanjaya Malakar is starting to grow on me. I have always like the Baldwin brothers. Janice Dickinson is getting on my last nerve. Speidi is already gone.

No one has called to tell me who was involved in the MURDER/SUICIDE from last night. I feel like that is a good sign. If it was someone I knew I am almost positive I would have been informed by now.

I think people get crazy when it's a full moon.

Monday Crap

* Weekend was awesome and we didn't really do anything.
* I need to pull weeds again.
* I am amazed that they have recovered 17 bodies from the doomed Air France flight. I am glad that the family has some type of closure, although I'm not sure it makes a difference. I am hopeful they find the black boxes and I am hoping they discover why the plane went down.
* I have some friends that are going to St. Croix in 18 days to get married. If I had to do it over again, I would do the same thing. It look beautiful there.
* I wanna go float the river but the Guadeloupe is flowing so slow, it's not worth the time or money. You would most likely be walking the river instead of floating.
* I hope this week is better than the last.
* I heard on the news this morning a mother from Hilsboro slit her childrens throat over the weekend, then called 911 herself to tell someone what she had done. How does your life get to that point? One child is dead. I bet she pleads insanity. Ughh. . . things like that do not go over too well with me.
* If this happened to one of my sisters, I'd be outraged too. I saw the video tape on Good Morning America. So sad.
* I watch the news every work day morning. I rarely watch the news on the weekend.

Friday, June 5, 2009

I know . . .I know . . .

* This has been a hella busy week.
* I had a discussion last night with sister and BF about December 21, 2012. I predict Mass chaos around the world.
* I want to go see The Hangover.

* I am almost sure we are going shopping this weekend.

* I am afraid to fly again.

*I received a email from a friend that was sent to everyone in her address book to inform me she was moving. I haven't spoke to her in a few years so I wandered why she bothered to inform me.

* I have been watching "I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here". It only took me about 3 seconds to confirm what I already thought to be true. Spencer and Heidi Pratt are the biggest douche bags on this planet. One of these days they will be broke as a joke. Karma is a bitch and they have alot coming to them.

* Apparently I am an ASS.

* I want to go camping.

Friday, May 29, 2009

YES!!!! IT'S FRIDAY ! !

* The Korean's are really starting to freak me the hell out. My best friend has been glued to CNN for almost a week straight.
* I hope this doesn't happen, but I am almost positive I will experience a nuclear bomb in my lifetime.
* Plane crash not far from my home! Scary! We always see planes flying over. They go back and forth to Bridgeport Airport. I have always had a fear of one crashing into my house while we were inside.
* We have alot of Army helicopters go by and they are really loud and they fly really low.
* I hope I get a good tan while working in the yard today.
* I heard someone won 232 million from South Dakota. Then I see a link in the news to the LOTTERY CURSE.
* I still think it would be nice to have a few mills to throw around.
* I would definitely want to remain anonymous, but you know everyone in Wise County would know if you won.
* I was in the bank this morning waiting to deposit my check and CNN was on. They were covering a news story on a chicken that crosses the road to eat donuts. Oh wait . . . story here.
* I need to get my teeth cleaned.
* I think Lebron James is sexy beast, and I like white meat.
* I can't stand to watch Arnold Schwartzenagger's films.
* I feel the same way about Jean-Claude Vann Damm.
* I never watch the late night talk shows. I usually watch the news, TMZ, then go to bed.
* OK I'm done. Everyone have a great weekend.

Thursday Crap-ola

* I hate it when people just don't get it.

* I wouldn't mind going to Six Flags only if I knew there would be a minimal wait of 5 minute per ride.

* I hate large crowds.

* Yesterday was hella busy.

* It seems to me when one person gets preggo, everyone gets preggo.

* I'm ready for the weekemd, like always.

* I need to go shopping for some new clothes.

* Today feels BLAH...

Tuesday, May 26, 2009

Tuesday Crap

* The long weekend was fun. It's always over WAY too soon.

* I am not a morning person.

* We really need to mow this weekend.

* I found the Monopoly PS2 game for a total of $15.99, and it delivered in 5 days.

* I love to find a good deal. If I buy it and it wasn't on sale I feel like I screwed myself for paying full price.

* I think I'm alot like my mother in that aspect.

* The phone has rang off the hook today.

* I noticed the Wolf shirt link made National headline news (yahoo.com) last Friday. Me thinks that is funny shit.

* I have a 100 gallon fish tank I'm going to put on craigs list if anyone is interested.

* I searched the name of the 24 year old that died from Bridgeport that was in the Update today on myspace. It is sad that she has passed away, but I was trying to find out why or how she died. I found her page, or at least I think it's her page. I have seen her before I just dont know where. May be she worked at the store or something. Anybody know what happen? Whatever it was, it's sad.

Thursday Crap-ola

* I have no word to explain the above picture, but I found it here. Never heard of a squirrel photoshop contest until today.

* Someone emailed me this link. Check out the first review for the product. I was laughing my ass off.

* I was leaving for work and saw something fall out of the tree in the back yard. I thought it might have been a baby bird. My dog went over to it and sniffed it and walked away. Upon further examination of the situtation I discovered it was a snake skin. Yeh for me.

* I heard a mysterious loud noise after we went to bed last night. Neither one of us can figure out what it was.

* It took me over an hour to fall asleep because I was paranoid someone was in my house.

* We ate the Chicken Casserole from Schwans last night. It was good but it's really just a big chicken pot pie.

* I need a new pair of sunglasses.

* Anybody heard anything about Brookshires?

* I need to buy beer after work.

* I think we are going to grill tonight.

* It's a beautiful day. Thank you Lord.
* I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a nice weekend, the forecast call for rain. But, we are in Texas, so you never know.
